Located on the third floor of the Seascape Condominium complex, this wonderful condo boasts great views of the Gulf and sunsets from your private balcony. The unit can accommodate six people. It has 1 king-sized bed, two bunk beds, and a fold-out couch. Bright and airy you will have no problem relaxing during your stay. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans and utensils, and a regular drip coffee maker. Linens, towels, Wi-Fi, and cable television are all included in your stay.

Welcome to The Southern Seahorse! Located on the third floor of the Seascape Condominium complex, this wonderful condo boasts great views of the Gulf and sunsets from your private balcony.


The unit can accommodate six people. It has 1 king-sized bed, two twin bunk beds, and a queen fold-out couch.


Bright and airy you will have no problem relaxing during your stay. The fully-equipped kitchen is stocked with pots, pans and utensils, and a regular drip coffee maker.


Linens, towels, Wi-Fi, and cable television are all included in your stay. The beach is just a few steps away with gated access. You can lounge around at the pool or one of the 2 hot tubs. There is also a separate barbeque area. Just a short distance to all the sights and sounds Galveston has to offer. Perfect for a vacation or a weekend getaway.


Guests at the Southern Seahorse also enjoy all the amenities offered by Seascape Resort including a beautifully landscaped courtyard/pool area, seasonally heated pool, 2 hot tubs (one for adults only), gazebo, beach observation deck, beach side BBQ and picnic area, and private parking.

When we arrived to our destination in Gavelston Texas we found our VRBO disgusting. We found multiple hairs and stains on the “clean” master bed, all the towels were wrinkled and looked like they just picked these up from the floor and hung them back. Contacted the host and was told that he would have sheets delivered to us that night-it NEVER happened. The next day we called the host again and he NEVER answered. Contacted VRBO trying to get our money back and ended up on the phone for 1 hour and was told money would go to our Venmo account- it NEVER did. We decided that staying here was not acceptable and ended up leaving our VRBO which was our honeymoon spot. The host NEVER called back. We texted the host to let him know we have left and wanted money back- he texted back saying he would give us money back ONLY IF WE BOUGHT NEW SHEETS FOR HIS UNIT. Other notes on the condo- the condo was advertised as beach views but should be advertised as RV park view, the elevator to reach the 3rd floor unit with our luggage was SKETCHY and ended up using stairs due to not feeling safe. The photographer for the listing was phenomenal because the pictures looked better than the actual room. We are HIGHLY dissatisfied. HIGHLY disappointed. Beautiful condo with nice furniture. The heated pool and hot tubs were excellent. The private gate to the beach was wonderful. Clean grounds and clean condo. A bonus was seeing little bunnies outside in the evenings.

We had a fantastic stay at this beach condo in Galveston! The location was perfect — just steps from the sand with beautiful ocean views right from the balcony. The condo was clean, comfortable, and had a relaxing coastal vibe that made us feel right at home. We especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, cozy bed, and easy check-in process.The complex itself was peaceful and well-maintained, with great amenities and convenient parking. It truly made for the perfect beach retreat!A couple of very minor notes — the coffee maker and blender didn’t seem to be working during our stay. Not a big deal at all, but replacing or checking those would make the experience absolutely perfect.We also had an outdated code for the beach access gate, so ensuring updated info would be a good idea. We were able to get the TV to work with some thoughtful effort with the remotes. Perhaps labeling them would help guests. Overall, we loved our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-appointed stay in Galveston!

Room was clean. But could use some updates, especially in the bathroom and by bed area. Bed was not the most comfortable, but would do for a couple nights. The room is off the back part of the building, so further away from the beach. But all condos have some kind of beach view, which is nice. Overall we like staying at seascape, as it’s one of the few places in Galveston right on the beach.

View of beach and access was good. The on-line picture appeared to have two beds a nd bunks, but had only one bed and bunks. The living room furniture was not adequate or comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, but fewer people than 6 would be for that condo. Not enough towels, toiletries or dishwasher pods.

While we loved the pool and the beach access, the actual unit was lacking a bit, and the elevator didn’t work half of the days we were there, which meant we were hiking four flights of stairs several times a day. The ice maker didn’t work in the unit so we had to bring in our own. Also smart TVs would be a nice addition, I was hoping to log into my apps and watch someShows but couldn’t. Overall, I think we’ll look for another property next time.

Birthday trip

This was the final part of an 18-day "Mountain" vacation. This part was designed to simply to kick back and relax after several days of hiking and high elevation activities. We enjoyed the ocean view, swimming pool and hot tub. The condo was clean and cozy and pretty well equipped. It would have been nice to be able to open the windows to enjoy the ocean breeze. We found it a bit difficult to play games without a table. We attempted to contact the management listed on the fridge for an additional item we needed but no response. But overall it was a great place to stay for a few days.

Great Galveston Getaway

We wanted a quiet getaway with options for unique excursion and got all of that. We had a beautiful pool area, easy access to a beach, and a comfy place to stay. I would recommend a car but if you don't mind the Uber expense, there are plenty and they are reasonable. We had a couple issues with some damage we found in the condo, but we reported it and it will be fixed before you get there. We were there as a couple, but it's family friendly. Stay away from Woody's and check out Cooper's across the street.
