Welcome to Just Chillin! Be one of the first guests to enjoy this amazing beach house in Jamaica Beach. This home is the perfect location for you and your guests to unwind and enjoy a great beach getaway.

You will feel an overwhelmingly welcome feeling when entering this 2-bedroom plus the large loft/bunk area that sleeps up to 8 guests. This home offers 2 bathrooms. The large vaulted entry will make you feel right at home. The living space offers a comfortable family room with the kitchen and dining nearby offering an open cozy floorplan. The fully stocked kitchen, island, and dining table are perfect for cooking, playing games, and enjoying family and friends. Just outside the door, you can enjoy beautiful canal views from any of the upper or lower decks. Enjoy grilling on the provided charcoal grill. There are two wonderful dining areas outside. One that has cushioned seating for 6 on the main level. We also have a picnic table for dining on the ground level. In the evening, you can enjoy the large fishing dock while casting a line. If you are lucky you can get your fresh catch of the day while enjoying it cooked on the charcoal grill in the evening. This magical getaway is a short drive to the beach or community pool (additional fee from pool mgt. company). There is a boat ramp in the community (permit required). There is a boat slip available as well. Please be sure to request a boat permit ($20 fee for launching from Jamaica Beach/permit required). The large bedroom on the main level has a king-size bed. The second bedroom is upstairs with a queen bed and shares the bathroom with the bunk loft area, which sleeps 4 additional guests comfortably in the 2 new queen beds.

This home is in the sought-after community of Jamaica Beach. In addition to the swimming pool and boat dock, this quiet community also offers nearby restaurants, coffee shops, liquor store, and more. It is the perfect location for a family to swim, fish, enjoy beach time, and unwind. We are a short drive to the community pool, playground, and beach. You can park your vehicle at the beach and set up your beach equipment nearby for the day.

The city of Galveston is about 20 minutes away. The historic Strand is another wonderful place to shop for souvenirs, boutique shopping, enjoy LaKings ice cream, or one of the great restaurants. In addition to the beach, and historic locations to visit, Galveston has Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Moody Gardens, and the Pleasure Pier. You will definitely want to stay the extra day to get it all in.

We enjoyed our stay. The kayaks were perfect for the canals and we loved the swing at the edge of the water. The beach was just a short drive away. The house was open concept and was perfect for large families.

Location is great and property was all good. Ice maker didn't work and there were no garbage bags to start, but we had a great time and would recommend this rental to all. Very convenient to everything especially fishing.

We loved our stay here! It was perfect! The house is beautiful and well stocked. It was great that we were able to launch our boat, then keep it at the house. It was also nice that we could fish from right under the house! Highly recommend!

Absolutely Perfect!

This house was the perfect vacation spot for our Galveston Island fishing trip! With its cozy coastal feel and close proximity to the Seawall and the bay it was an ideal location. The fishing from the dock right out the door was so much fun and pretty good fishing catching Croakers, Catfish and even a nice Red Fish. The kitchen was also stocked with everything you need for an amazing meal buying fresh shrimp and fish from the local fish market. What a great experience!!!

Nice place to stay

The house was very clean and had plenty of seating for our family. We take turns cooking when we travel and the kitchen was fully stocked with all of the cookware we needed for our meal. The beach was just a couple of miles away and we loved that we could drive onto the beach and set up without having to haul all of our chairs, coolers, etc A small grocery store was less than 5 minutes from the house so we could quickly pick up anything we needed.

Just What We Needed

My family and I absolutely loved our stay. It was the perfect set up for what we wanted. The location is perfect for everything; the beach, local shops and restaurants. The home offered some amazing amenities and was very cozy and comfortable. I loved having my tea on the deck in the morning and enjoying a nice glass of wine off the dock in the evening. I'm actually looking forward to my next stay when I'll bring the boat and make use of the kayaks they have available.

Amazing Spring Break Stay

We booked at Just Chillin for a weekend cheer competition but decided since it was the beginning of Spring Break, we would stay and hang with the college kids too. It was an amazing stay. The house is just as described and I was very impressed at how well the kitchen was stocked. We bbq'ed, made breakfast each morning and brownies with ice cream for dessert. There were plenty of beds for each kid to bring a friend and the 3rd bathroom (with fridge) outside on the 1st floor came in handy too. The kids got to fish and the dogs enjoyed the outside time too. We would definitely stay here again.

Work-ation

Our family of four stayed for a week of combo vacationing and remote work. One of the kayak paddles was missing when we arrived but Kathy responded very quickly to address the issue. Otherwise it was a very relaxing week with lots of time walking on the beach, paddling out into the bay, going to the neighborhood pool, and taking in the beautiful views of the bay and its wildlife. The house was bright and spacious for our family of four.

Just Chillin in Jamaica Beach

We had a wonderful time fishing in the canal. It rained most of the weekend, but it gave us family time together and when the sun did come out - we went to the main beach just across the road from the main Jamaica Beach Entrance. To my surprise there was parking available. The kids enjoyed playing in the waves. We ate at some really great restaurants in Galveston. Lots of space for adult & Children's sleeping quarters. My favorite spot was the back porch swing waking up to a fresh cup of coffee and listening to the sea gulls and watching the fish jump in the canal. This is an awesome place for "Just Chillin". Loved every minute of it! Very peaceful location.
