Welcome to Ahab`s Lookout, your spacious canal-side retreat in peaceful Jamaica Beach, Texas. This two-level home comfortably accommodates guests with six bedrooms and five bathrooms. Relax in the heated pool and hot tub, unwind on the expansive balconies and sun deck, or enjoy waterfront living with direct access to your private boat dockâideal for fishing or leisurely cruising.

â Beach Access: Quick 4 minute drive to the Jamaica Beach access point.
â Private Pool: This home features a waterfront in-ground pool with a spacious patio for lounging. Pool can only be heated to 86 degrees and costs an additional $35 per day to heat.
â Community Amenities: Guests have access to the Jamaica Beach community pool for a fee â open Memorial Day - Labor Day â and city park.
â Rent BeachBox: Beach gear rentals are available! Ask us for details and rates.
â WIFI/Cable: We provide free high-speed WIFI and Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming service apps.
â Pet Policy: 2 pets are allowed with a $150 fee per pet. Please keep pets off furniture, clean up after them outside, and crate them if left alone indoors.
â Parking: There is parking for up to 6 cars. Please plan to carpool if necessary.
Upon arrival, you`ll be greeted by a spacious outdoor entertainment area, featuring the inviting pool and hot tub. Enjoy casual gatherings or quiet relaxation here after a day of fishing or exploring the canals. Also located downstairs is easy access to your private boat dock, making canal adventures effortless.
Entering the main living level, an open-concept space connects the kitchen, dining area, and a cozy living roomâideal for socializing and spending quality time together. Just outside is a spacious sun deck, offering picturesque views and perfect spots to savor morning coffee. This level features two primary bedroom suites, each with a king-size bed and a private bathroom. One of the suites also includes its own coffee bar and mini-fridge for added convenience.
Upstairs there are four thoughtfully designed bedrooms. Two of these rooms have their own ensuite bathroomsâone with a king-size bed, and the other with a queen and a full-size bed. The remaining two rooms are designed as bunk rooms: one includes two full-over-full bunk bed sets, while the other features a twin-over-twin bunk bed and a triple twin bunk bed. An additional family room upstairs provides a cozy space for movie nights or a relaxing afternoon indoors, while another large balcony offers sweeping canal views to enjoy the island breeze.

House Rules: - Guests must be 24+ to book the property. - One-night stays must be approved. - Groups larger than 12 need to be approved. No parties or prom groups. - This house sleeps a max of 16 guests - Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. - Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost. - Maximum of 2 dogs (under 50 pounds) - No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighborsâ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied. - Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team. - Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm. - Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine. - The homeowner`s routine pool maintenance cannot be rescheduled and is required for the health and safety of our guests. They will not need to access the home but will access the yard. - No jumping or diving into the water. Children must be supervised at all times. - This community only allows BLACK TRASH BAGS. We provide trash bags under the kitchen sink. Please refrain from using white bags. - Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.
Very nice and clean home, would stay again. They have everything you need for your stay. Bikes, kayaks, beach toys for the kids. We really enjoyed our stay here!
We really enjoyed this house and would stay again. It was super clean. The layout was perfect for our group. The pool and hot tub worked great and were simple to operate. It was great to have a covered pool and patio. The kitchen had everything we needed. My only critique would be to add a gas grill. Had not used a grill like the one provided in years. Communications were simple, clear and prompt when needed.
The house was stunning and we had such a great experience! The house was very comfortable with large master bedrooms for the adults and bunk rooms for the kids. It was a perfect setup and we had a great time. Itâs a beautiful home and the experience was 10 out of 10!
