The Elissa

We had a full-time tenant in 2024 and our house is back with VRBO. Updated photos! All new flooring and paint. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac in fantastic Pirates Beach, this stunning new home is a 7 minute walk to the beach. Inside you will find 3 bedrooms - one king (guest bedroom), one king (master bedroom) and one guest bedroom with twin single beds and full bed. A couch in the living room folds out to sleep 2, bringing the maximum number of people to 10. Two bedrooms have a large wall mounted TV (48") and another large TV is in the living room. (Netflix is provided). There are 2 bathrooms in the house, and a shower located downstairs. Free Wi-fi.
The gourmet kitchen has corian countertops, stainless steel appliances and all kitchen utensils are provided as well. There is a large washer and dryer and linens are provided.
There is a wonderful patio to enjoy the Gulf breezes and a new BBQ grill (charcoal) downstairs.
The Elissa is conveniently located close to many Galveston restaurants and attractions including Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Pleasure Pier, and the Historic Stand District.
Our beach home is intended for the quiet enjoyment of our guests. Minimum rental age is 28 and adults cannot rent this property on behalf of underage guests. Absolutely no smoking or pets. Guests must comply with these Rental Policies and all subdivision restrictions. The renter must have a valid U.S. driver's license. Special rates for 1 month rentals November to March. Cancellation policy - $100 cancellation fee if you book the property and cancel the reservation 0-14 days out. No charge for earlier cancellations, but be aware that VRBO fees are non-refundable on this or any VRBO property that you may book.
The beach is a 7 minute walk. If you want a golf cart, we recommend Rick's Beach Rentals. They can bring you a golf cart and pick it up when you leave. Be aware you probably need to book early, especially in the summer months.

Nice and quiet neighborhood! Great communication. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Close to the beach. Pirates Beach is not crowded at all. Far enough away from all the hustle and bustle but close enough to get to all the attractions.

My family and I had an awesome stay at this property. From booking, check in, the stay, and check out was super easy and flawless. The house is super nice. It was clean and the furnishings are great. This house is stocked with anything you may need! This is by far one of the nicest rentals I have encountered. You will be happy you chose this rental, don't hesitate, rent it!!

Relaxing Getaway

Owner was responsive. The home was clean. It is in the back of the neighborhood which we knew upon booking. The fridge didn’t cool very well and dryer took several cycles to dry small loads. Otherwise all was well. Thank you!

Amazing house and location

The pictures of this very clean house don’t do it justice. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen was very well stocked and there were plenty of towels. Quiet neighborhood and a very quick golf cart ride to the beach. We loved riding around in the rented golf cart to the neighborhood store and to enjoy the evenings. You can walk to the beach if you want. Beach was never crowded. Host was quick to answer any questions. We will definitely be back. I would not hesitate to rent this house.

Lovely Getaway

We loved the place and had a nice trip it is clean and well stocked-it was our second time staying there - only one minor complaint the pet hair-I’m not a pet owner so would rather not have to deal with that at all getting on our clothes and things. Other than that another great stay.

Cozy retreat

Had a wonderful stay with our family here. The pictures don’t do the place justice. It is very cozy and clean and had everything you need! We flew in from Denver and didn’t have to buy and extra supplies for the home from toiletries, cooking supplies or extra towels. The walk to the beach may be a little long for younger kids but was fine for my 10 yr-16yr olds. Location was super close to great convenience store (that had many grocery/food items) and beer/liquor, as well as a fresh seafood market and pizzeria next door. You don’t have to travel into town often if you don’t want to! The owner was great with communication and helpful with any questions we had. The neighbors were also very kind and friendly as well. Overall, a great experience and the place was super roomy and beds were very comfortable!

Family time

This house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. The owners are great to work with. We definitely needed the cart we rented to go to the beach. With the kids and “stuff” we took, the cart was needed for our group.
