Home is professionally decorated to advantage small spaces in comfort and style. Open living area includes living room featuring a pullout bed, dining area and kitchen. Master bedroom has a new high end queen bed, large closet and a private deck. Master bathroom has a small shower with a custom shower head and a pedestal sink. Lower level features a large outside entertainment area with a 50 inch TV perfect for movies or your favorite sporting events. Second bedroom features a new queen bed and a new bunk bed and is separate from the upper level making it ideal for two small families or families with older children. Bathroom has a good sized shower, pedestal sink and is shared its a full sized washer and dryer.
This home is all about the location! Family friendly neighborhood with no busy roads to cross to some of the nicest beaches in Galveston. Minutes drive to Pirates Cove, Jamaica Beach marina park and swimming pool, Watermans marina and restaurant, Galveston golf course and the seawall and dozens of restaurants. Great little getaway!

The location was perfect! Close to some stores, 2 minute walk to the beach and a great neighborhood. My family enjoyed their stay.

An AMAZING vacation. Just book it!

My wife and I decided to come out from California for an island vacation in Galveston and we are glad we did! We stayed at John's Pelicans Soar only one block from the beach and loved it. The home had everything we needed to cook and entertain, in fact all of the bedrooms and living areas had smart tv's and the wifi was super fast. The furniture was all very comortable and the beds were especially nice. We loved the view of the gulf and the sound of the waves and the Pelicans flying by was awesome! The outdoor entertainment area was cool too with a big screen smart tv.They even provided a beach wagon with beach towels and toys for the kids! The home is located on the west shore only about 10 minutes from the Galveston seawall the shopping grocery stores and gas within minutes. If you’re into working out, there’s a gym about a half a mile away which had all the basic necessities. Galveston exceeded our expectations with great restaurants and a really fun music/ foody scene downtown and along the seawall. So many things to do we could have stayed for a month instead of only a week. We will be back and we highly recommend this home and John was an excellent host!

Gorgeous Beach Proximity

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend near the beach - the deck had a beautiful view of the water and was only about 2 blocks from the beach. However - make sure you get check-in information in advance. It was not in the app instructions and the owner didn't respond until an hour after check-in (multiple calls/texts/messages in the app) with this information as we sat in the hot sun outside. Despite the start, we enjoyed our time and it is a nice, quiet neighborhood.

Cozy and clean

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy and clean beach house that was stocked with all the essentials and more. We were in town for a graduation so unfortunately did not get to spend much time enjoying the beach that was just a short walk from the house. We did enjoy sitting outside at night watching the stars and hearing the waves. The second bedroom on the ground floor ended up being a great advantage for adult kids. Overall a great trip and a great place to stay!
