Welcome to our piece of heaven! Enjoy this ocean view home on a corner acre lot that is only 5 minutes to the beach - walking! Lodge 10 people in our spacious 3 bedrooms providing 1 king, 2 queens and 4 twin beds with 2 luxurious bathrooms. Make a freshly cooked meal in the full size kitchen and enjoy it on the large, ocean view patio. Grill for the family with s’mores for dessert in the covered downstairs. Sun bathe off the living area or nap in a hammock in the shade. Let this be your getaway!

Annual Galveston Getaway

We like staying at different properties for our annual Galveston getaway. This was our first experience with Indian Beach and we look forward to returning to this area. The beach was very private, easy access from the property we stayed at, and clean. This property did not disappoint. It was spacious, clean, and a great location from the beach. We rented a golf cart, which made getting to and from the beach a lot easier. It’s a nice neighborhood to drive around in the evenings as well. Beautiful sunset you can enjoy in the back of Indian Beach neighborhood. Kitchen had the bare basics. Absolutely loved having blackout curtains! Host/owner was very attentive and responded quickly to questions. We would very much be interested in staying here again.

Our recent mini-vacation at The Breezy House was the first time our family has ever rented on VRBO and we were extremely happy with our accommodations. The beds were super comfortable, the living area was spacious for all, and the location was perfect. Everyone was satisfied. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was ok.

The photos when booking were a bit off. The deck is in need of some serious tlc. The ground level furniture and bbq were both unusable. The house is nice but some things are being neglected, and the pots/pans are a complete mish mash of Randoms that made it difficult to cook. To be fair, the beds were comfortable and the a/c worked well and you can see the water from the house so all that plus easy access to beach were great. I just felt like we were on the downside turn of the beginning of issues for the home. I booked this as it had really great ratings previously but for the price , I expected it to be as shown in photos and the outside is drastically different. The inside was ok, although we had to clean parts of the house and vacuum when we got there as hair and stuff in the bathroom drawers and floors were still a bit dirty. Overall it was ok, could’ve been worse.

Great space and location just needs a deep clean

The house was the perfect amount of space for 7. The location could not be beat. The place is in need of a deep clean and beware of bugs. The outside space has so much potential, but the furniture and area was too dirty and unmaintained to enjoy.

Quiet and Breezy....

Even though there was a community around us, you hardly saw anybody or heard anything but the wind...breeze. The house is definitely open and comfortable for two alone or a family. The only issue was no hot water in the kitchen sink but that is an easy fix that the owner immediately acknowledged when notified. I would definitely recommend this location for a quiet and breezy get away.

Excellent house/best beach!

We were so pleased with the house! It fit my husband and I, grandma, and 3 Teenage girls very comfortably. Very quiet, could hear the ocean from the porch. Loved being able to see the ocean while sitting in the family room and the master bedroom. The A/C was cold for those of us who like that and the porches were nice and warm but shaded for those who liked that. Great location
far enough away from the congestion of Galveston but close enough to go out to eat/shop or play at pleasure pier/site see. The best part about the home though was how close it was to the beach!! Super quick easy walk across the road that was pretty slim traffic especially compared to closer to Galveston. We basically had the beach to ourselves a lot of times with maybe a couple other people. The house provided boogie boards which was a huge deal to us. The only complaint we had was that they didn’t provide enough wash cloths and hand towels for the 6 of us. Don’t mind using towels over and over but wash cloths
there were only 4 total for 6 people and I myself use a clean one every time I shower. Also there wasn’t enough hooks or towel bars to hang all those towels and the one towel bar we had, fell off the wall when we tried to use it. There was no where to hang wet swimsuits either. The outside shower and hose were absolutely wonderful to help keep the sand out of the house. Overall would totally recommend this house and would do it again if we lived closer.

Weekend fun!

I was so impressed with this property. The house was beautiful. Everything was in great order. Clean and spacious. Decorated nicely. Large back patio and huge yard. The internet connection was flawless. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Galveston Beach house

Our 3 day stay at this Indian Beach house was just wonderful. The house was so clean and decorated so nice. It has everything you might need in the kitchen if you want to cook a nice meal. We enjoyed our stay so much and I would stay here again.

Really cozy house in a great location. The pictures online don’t do it justice, it was surprised when I got there to find out how much nicer it was in person. The perfect house to have family and friends over for a long weekend! Would recommend 😄

This was a great property to be at close to beach area. Town was close and stores. House very roomy.

This was a great house to stay at we had wonderful time with kids and family. We had a group of 4 adults 4 kids (5-9) and two babies. Closets worked great for pack and plays in adult rooms and bunk room great for kids to get into with space. House was a great size for us all to hangout in evenings.

Best Vacation in years

The pictures and description of the house were right on point and the bedding felt like you never left home. The name of the house describes the lower patio perfectly, what relaxing afternoons and evenings. Access to the beach by foot or vehicle was very convenient. Can't wait for next year.

Breezy Getaway

The house was clean and perfect for 7 of us. Could have slept a few more. The AC was wonderful against the humid ocean breeze. The beach was literally a 5 minute walk. The house was well appointed with towels, soap, comfortable beds and bedding and dishes, etc. Had access to all the streaming channels we could ever want. Downtown Galveston was about a 20 minute drive. The house allowed easy access to all Galveston had to offer, and at the same time, gave us a very private experience. We would go back!

We Loved It!!!

The house was very clean and organized. There was a strong breeze blowing on the downstairs patio which made it great for sitting, cooking and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable and had great linens and pillows. Edwin was very responsive with any issues we called about. I would definitely stay here again.

West End Breeze

Overall this was one of the best rentals I have stayed at in Galveston. The property's location was an ideal spot for us as it was away from the traffic, but close enough that we could run into town for supplies. The house had everything we needed, and the ground floor was where we stayed most of the day. The breeze coming off of the ocean made it perfect for a late afternoon nap! The owner was super fast in responding to messages in the VRBO app, and was accommodating to all of our needs. I would highly recommend this house, and hope to stay there in the future.

Peaceful retreat!

We loved staying in this peaceful retreat 5 mins from the beach. This was the perfect escape for our family. Felt at home and enjoyed this beautiful house! Host made sure we had everything setup for our stay including a baby gate for our little one.

Great stay for spring break!

We had a fantastic week on spring break in Galveston thanks in large part to this great house. A perfect living room to sit in and visit with family and friends, watch TV and relax or read a book. Easy walk to the beach and far enough away from the heavy Galveston traffic.

Pleasant experience!

Really enjoyed the atmosphere at the breezy house and the spacious living area. Had a small get together for my birthday with some friends after a show. The location was nice and peaceful, far enough off the beaten path to be unbothered, and the patio felt amazing. I especially love how comfortable all of the pillows are. I found it slightly strange there were no dish towels in the kitchen, but other than that we had everything we needed. Any maintenance on the property or things we should be aware of were communicated up front by the owner. I would definitely rent this property again.
