The room is quite basic. Very dated. Could do with upgrading asap. Staff all very nice and helpful. Very busy hotel, very few seats in the lobby and bar very loud. We prefer a quieter hotel. Nice pool.

The room was so hot at night. Tried to open window but it was wedged shut. Reported it to reception next day and they said they would get it fixed. Second night the window still wasn’t sorted. Reported it again next morning on checkout. Hotel offered us “complementary tea for the road” which we declined. Haven’t slept in two nights and will be glad to get home very disappointed.

The cleaning staff was amazing and our rooms were very clean. Room temperature was too warm. Restaurant staff did not seem to have enough people. It took 40 minutes for someone to take our order.

It was a nice hotel, however it was under construction while we were there and weren’t told it would be. The rooms also did not have air conditioning and had horrible ventilation so it got extremely hot in them, even with the windows opened. Maybe after renovations it will be a nice hotel.

Very friendly and welcoming

The hotel is very large and has an excellent bar, lounge area and very nice rooms. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Convenient bus service to get to the city centre and although it is walkable (i went down by the lough) there is a bus stop nearby for service to the city and to the racecourse

Excellent modern hotel in Galway

This is a really wonderful, up to date and modern hotel in Galway City. It was very easy to get a taxi from the Galway train station to drop us off at this hotel. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We also appreciate this hotel is attached to a fitness center with an absolutely beautiful aquatic Center with hot tub, steam room and dry sauna. The showers are absolutely spectacular in the brand new locker rooms. They have a beautiful full service dining room restaurant as well as a grab-and-go fresh made coffee shop. The lobby is modern and up-to-date and all of the staff at this hotel were friendly and helpful. We definitely will stay here again.
