The beautiful shores of Bear Lake are mere blocks from this newly built townhouse, a wonderful home base for boating, fishing, and skiing in and around Garden City. You'll even have a fleet of three kayaks to take out on the lake's brilliant blue waters.
This two-story townhome is part of a brand-new development that sits one mile north of downtown Garden City. You'll be three-quarters of a mile from the Bear Lake State Park Marina (a great spot to rent watercraft), in between the Bear Lake Golf Course and the Bear Lake West Golf Course (four miles south and north, respectively), and an easy 13-mile drive from Beaver Mountain Ski Area.
As new construction, the interior of this home is polished and uncluttered, with a well-equipped kitchen greeting you as you enter. After a day spent kayaking or water skiing, come home to prepare a homemade meal using stainless steel appliances, a center prep island, and a gas grill just outside.
The spacious living room awaits upstairs, offering a foosball table, a smart TV mounted above a gas fireplace, and a peek-a-boo view of Bear Lake. Central air-conditioning, a private washer/dryer, complimentary WiFi, and smart TVs in all three bedrooms are provided for your comfort as well. Additional amenities include three adult bikes, a beach canopy, life jackets, two stand up paddleboards, and tubes for snow or water.

It went well. the kitchen and dining room are quite small but the living room was larger than it seemed in the pictures as we had 6 adults and 5 kids that was a blessing.
Nice property but bad water heater and communication with property company
The home had some nice updated features. However, the water heater was awful. With 7 people in the house we were only able to get through 1, maybe 2 showers before all the water in the house turned cold. Also, when we arrived there was no garage door opener to the property. I contacted the property management company and had some correspondence, but never heard back after I told them it was nowhere to be found. Every time we went somewhere someone had to hit the garage door button from inside the garage and then run out before the garage door closed on them. We wouldn't stay here again.
The property was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the location was quiet. The amenities were all in working condition. However, only 2 people could shower before we ran out of hot waster. We did have issues reaching customer service a couple of times. Firstly, the code provide for check-in to unlock the door was incorrect. A 10 digit code was provided but the door needed a 4 digit code. It took almost 30 minutes to reach a customer service representative to get a code to enter the property. Secondly, the kayaks provided at the property are a nice perk but we could not use them without life-vests (per UT law). We reached out to customer service and after a long wait on the phone we were told the "local team" would look into getting some life-vests and get back to us. We waited a couple hours and we hadn't heard from the local team so we just went and picked up life-vests. The next morning (after still no response from the local team) we reached out to submit our receipt for reimbursement. We were told they were still waiting for response from the local team. Upon checkout that morning we still hadn't heard from anyone. We had to leave and since the next guest would need life-vests to use the kayaks, we left them. After a month we still have not heard back from the local team regarding reimbursement. The next guest shouldnât have the problem with life-vests, as we left them, but beware if you need customer assistance from Vacasa or local team, you may never get it!
Cute place very open feel. Games where a nice addition. Bedding could use an upgrade. No one wants to sleep in cheap bedding. Need to be able to enter through the garage if your not going to remove the snow. Would definitely stay again.
