Wouldn’t rent again
First, the place from the exterior looks abandoned. While the view from the property is gorgeous, the only small patio with any furniture is dilapidated and not cleaned.
The furniture in the apartment absolutely is thread-bare and ancient. The decor in the entire space is that of someone’s long-gone elderly grandparents. And in case you were in doubt, their painted portraits are on the wall staring at you.
There were two dishwasher tabs in the stocked kitchen, but zero hand soap or dish soap. We also had to purchase toilet paper and paper towels. Lamps either didn’t work, had no globes over sconces and had bare bulbs.
The bathroom is more modern and adequate, but the shower is quite small. I am 5’4” and 116 lbs and it was tight!
With a little effort, this could be a nice space to stay. The location is wonderful and quiet and we enjoyed walking up the street into historic Partenkirchen.
As it is now, I’d give this place a hard pass.
