Bearly Escape features 4 Master Suites each with a king-size log bed and Jacuzzi Tub for Two with adjoining full bath, TV & view of the mountains. Enjoy the view from inside or step out onto the deck to be surrounded by stunning scenery.

Bearly Escape is located on a hill just 2 miles off the Scenic Highway (called the Spur) 1.5 mi from Pigeon Forge and 3 miles from the heart of Gatlinburg.

You have easy access to all the outlet stores, restaurants & entertainment venues that the area has to offer, and with a short drive back to the cabin you will be away from the noise.

Even Townsend, Sugerland Visitor’s Center, Cades Cove & The Smoky Mountain National Forest are a short drive away.

Ober Gatlinburg with its snow skiing, snowboarding and tubing during the winter and a water park during the warm months is a family favorite and DOLLYWOOD is only a stone’s throw away

About The Owner: My name is Bill and my wife's name is Liliane. I am from South Florida and Liliane is from Switzerland.

Liliane speaks English, German, French and a little Spanish, I speak good old American....LOL.

We love the outdoors and all that goes with it. We visited one of our friends cabins in the Smoky Mountains and we fell in love with the area. We could hike on any of the 300 miles of trails, go white water rafting on the Pigeon River or just kayak on any of the rivers in the area. My wife loves skiing and with Ober Gatlinburg just a few minutes away she can go skiing while I stick to tubing (remember I am a Florida boy). Even in the spring, summer and fall there are things to do there.

We have just begun to explore this wonderful area, but have already found our Little Piece of Heaven and we want to share it with you. Come and enjoy, you too will fall in love.

Please enjoy our cabin, but make sure you visit the wonderful sights and entertainment that the Smoky Mountains have to offer, like white water rafting, kayaking, hiking, skiing, tubing on snow and rivers, and the shows in town.

Whatever you do, just relax and enjoy our cabin.

Challenging to review , just so much better than we expected !!!

It beats the descriptions !! Don’t even waste time reading just book it and stay as long as possible !!! It beats the pictures !! Don’t even look at them just book it and go see the details and how the owners used talent and taste to decorate this beautiful house !! Satisfaction is provided in every square inch . Clean , clean , clean , did I say Clean 
 ? 👌 Biking with friends in the area , you have to stay here and build your trails from this starting point , you can bike for days and then come back to the most well designed comfort and fun !! We will be back for sure 👍 The owners are great and go the extra mile , they are definitely having fun with their guests , that also adds a lot in the experience. Just book it now !!! Never bored

Well suited for large families with plenty to do. We had a wonderful stay, very comfortable with plenty of activities to keep everyone having fun playing, relaxing and enjoying each other. We actually had bear sightings four times on our trip!

Great Cabin in the Mountains

This was a great cabin for a week-long family vacation in Sevierville. We had 10 people, so two slept in the common areas. We comfortably fit around the large dining table for meals and card-playing. We had to drive up some steep hills to get to the cabin, but the area was very quiet and we saw 4 bears near the cabin. A storm disrupted internet briefly and Bill was very quick to respond and fix the issue. Would recommend this cabin and would stay here again!

Perfect for big families

This cabin is perfect for large families. We had 4 couples (age ranges were from early-mid 30’s, mid 50’s and mid 70’s as well as four children) and everyone had their own private room/bathroom with a jetted tub. The common areas were set up nicely to accommodate everyone as well. The views were nice and the location’s proximity to everything in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the National Park was amazing. For folks who don’t typically traverse mountain roads, be prepared for a few steep climbs and switchbacks turns on your drive up. When it’s raining, we recommend taking your time and using a different gear. It was amazing place with great hosts! Highly recommend!

We loved the cabin and enjoyed our stay sooo much! It was close to everything we wanted to do. The only complaint we had was it was not very clean. There were cobwebs on the walls and the bathroom mats looked dirty. Other than the cleanliness, everything was wonderful!

Great place for family vacation

Cabin was a great size for our family of 7. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals at home. Beautiful view and close to everything you could want to do in either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. We had a great time during our stay at the Bearly Eacape cabin!

We absolutely loved our stay! From the beautful views from the two balconies, to the space inside! The two king suites downstairs off from the game room were perfect for the kids, while the adults had the upstairs! We even saw 3 bearon the way upto theca in!

Family Vacation

What an amazing Cabin nestled in the mountains. Bill made the process so easy and was the best host. We saw two bears and had squirrels visit everyday that ate peanuts from our hand. My entire family had the best time and made memories for a lifetime! We are already planning our next trip! We highly recommend Bearly Escape.

Wonderful cabin!

This was our first family trip to the smoky mountains. This cabin was perfect! So many things close to the property. The cabin had plenty of room and beautiful views. The trip up the mountain was a little more than I expected but well worth it!!

VACAY STAY

Our vacay stay was from 12.28.2024 thru 1.4.2025. Our family, ages 16 to 63, gathered here to ring in 2025! The cabin was immaculate and as advertised. We especially liked that it was still decorated for Christmas. The parking was plenty as we arrived in four separate vehicles. Special note that four wheel drive is highly recommended. We did see the bears frolic in the back of the property one morning; which was a special treat! We could see the fireworks clearly from the property which provided joy when we rang in the new year! I would highly recommend this cabin for any size family! Thank you for providing us with a very relaxed vacation!

Enjoyed our stay

Very nice cabin. Four identical large master bedrooms, each with a private full bathroom and with a whirlpool bathtub. Nice views from the two (upper and lower floor) porches. Lots of bear sightings in the neighborhood. Great game room with pool table and very cool old-school video game table. About a 10-15 minute ride down the mountain to town (either Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg) on a twisty but fully paved road, with a couple of somewhat steep (but short) sections. An AWD would be nice, but as long as the weather is good, not really necessary. The hosts were very accommodating and courteous. Responded to all our inquiries in a timely and concise fashion. Would certainly recommend this cabin.
