Fabulous stay from beginning to end

Lovely old building. Warm welcome. Clean, quiet and comfortable room. We were given the choice of shower or bath. Temperature was comfortable. Wifi worked very well. Breakfast was excellent. Central location. Very easy to walk from station and to reach restaurants and shopping. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Gävle.

Went to Elite Grand Hotel in Gävle and stayed there for a few days and would love to go back. The staff were all be dry attentive and accommodating. The breakfast buffet every morning is to die for and I definitely recommend checking out the wellness spa. It is the perfect hotel to go to when you want to relax and enjoy the area.

It's beautiful. I love historic hotels. The radiator in my room didn't work well so it was cold. The breakfast gets full quickly and there isn't enough seating, but I would stay again.

I enjoyed this hotel and my stay in Gävle very much. A beautiful, grand old hotel that has been restored with modern conveniences added! Very convenient to the trains and busses and an easy walk to shopping areas and the historic parts of the city. I plan to be in Gävle again next year and look forward to another stay here.
