Room was low floor and so noisy as it looked over main road. Perhaps main drawback which is the trade off for me in an excellent location

This hotel is in a fantastic location. My room was upgraded as per my benefit, however it was upgraded to a room adjacent to the lift. This was noisy even though the person who checked me in and showed me the room assured me that it wasn’t. The hotel was booked out and therefore I was unable to change rooms. A huge catch and , it potentially may have been my own fault, albeit I did not see it on the booking site, apparently if you want to park your car at the hotel you must pre book directly with the hotel. I incurred two parking fines for extended parking at the parking garage that the hotel suggested I use. It was very late when I arrived and I was forced to take the last spot which was for electric cars……. Although, my car was a hybrid. In any event, beware. It was my first time to Geneva and with that said, I would stay elsewhere next time given my new better understanding of the area.

Overall we were very happy with hotel. Views from bedroom balcony were fab. However, for the price breakfast was poor. At 35CHF each would expect more than a self service buffet with limited choice.

Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bristol. The front desk staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel lobby bar and dining area were well decorated and comfortable. We were told we were staying in a newly renovated room and it did not disappoint. Beautiful and lux are the two words I would use to describe. This is a 4-star hotel and it's been very well earned. Very centrally located (less than 10 minute walk to the train station; 15 minute or so walk to old down; 2 minute walk to the river). Highly recommend.
