We rent our family house (300m²), an old farmhouse with a large garden (3000m2) and a large secured swimming pool. Available in June or September.

It is a large country house located between Champdeniers and Echiré, 7mn from the exit 10 of the A83 and 15mn from the TGV station of Niort, at the doors of the Marais Poitevin.
In the heart of the hamlet of Germond, it is both quiet and close to many places of visits and activities: bike rides and hikes in the countryside (St Jacques de Compostelle road) around, Mazieres golf course at 8km; nautical base of Cherveux/ Saint-Christophe-du Roc at 5 min. Niort, its famous market nominated best farmers market in france in 2024 and its keep at 15 min, the canals of Marais Poitevin at 20 min, the Futuroscope at 50 min, animal parks and Le Puy du Fou at 1h, La Rochelle and the island of Ré at 1h.
All local shops, market and supermarket and services available in Champdeniers (4 km) and Echiré (10km).

The house is lively, comfortable, warm and welcoming, furnished with our own furniture and family heirlooms. We have a large collection of books, comics, DVD's and CD's which are available for your use during your stay.

Très bel endroit

Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances en famille dans cette propriété, idéale pour nous grâce à son tres grand jardin fermé et au caractère authentique de la maison. Si vous cherchez une maison impersonnelle et aseptisée, passez votre chemin, mais si vous aimez les vielles pierres, les endroits vivants et chargé d’histoire(s), vous serez comblés comme nous l’avons été. Nous n’avons pas rencontré les propriétaires, en congés, mais Marie qui s’est occupé de notre accueil a été charmante et nous a mis à l’aise. Très belle expérience pour nous !
