Property looks pretty nice, pool area smells bad and like mold, room was nice bathroom had mold on the shower side and hair on the shower walls like it was never cleaned some towels were ripped and torn
Wish they had left filled bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Fridge in room had lots of left over food in it from previous guest. Management took care of it right away but I had to go to front desk to tell them my phone was not working in my room. Other than that the stay was great and next to major highway and next to many businesses to get food and shop.
Let’s start this saga from the beginning. The entrance had a very profound smell. On asking at the check-in counter, I was told that the cleaning crew used heavy cleaners to clean the carpet/floors and then they used heavy room fresheners to remove the chemical smell but it got all mixed up and gave a very unique pungent smell.
Next was the check-in: The check-in was painless. I booked a deluxe executive room and was assigned room #222 and that’s where it all falls apart. We didn’t spend anytime in the room,m as it was 4th of July and went to memorial park to see the fireworks. When we returned at about 10:00 pm to spend the night, we noticed that linens has blood stain, it was dirty and had holes all over the place. We called the front desk and the person was very helpful. He immediately arrived and agreed that the room was inhabitable and very soon after talking to management assigned room # 220 which by the way was not deluxe executive for which I originally paid. Anyways, let’s keep going. While the hotel staff was with us, we moved our bags and came to room #220 but it had similar issues. There were hairs on the linens which obviously shows that it was not washed. I showed the staff member and denied to accept the room. It was almost 10:45 pm by now. The staff member went to his office to check if there was another room available. After about 15 minutes when he didn’t show up, I went down to check and was told to take room 320. I moved my bags again and found that roo
The only reason for my responses being less than 5 stars was that one of the beds had a food stain and black hairs on the sheets, suggesting to me that it had not been washed between guests,
After a long drive from pigeon Forge I wanted to soak in a warm bath but I noticed hairs in the tub and shower curtain (which meant they didn’t change the curtain). Then I noticed a yellowish ring around the tub that wasn’t scrubbed clean. So disappointing.
We were happy with everything but breakfast. There was still an hour before the end of Breakfast. Eggs are and sausage were just about out. I got the last of the eggs, I didn’t ask for more . I was done by the time more eggs were put out, we had to leave. They never put out extra sausage.
