Welcome to your serene escape in the heart of Giethoorn, the famed "Venice of the North." Nestled in a car-free holiday park, this detached, single-storey chalet offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by canals and nature. Thoughtfully furnished for comfort, the bright living space flows into an open-plan kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave, ideal for relaxed meals after a day on the water. Three cozy bedrooms and two modern bathrooms ensure restful nights for families or groups up to six—note that pets are not permitted, preserving a quiet, allergy-friendly environment.

Step outside through the garden doors to your private terrace overlooking the water. A true highlight is the electric sloop moored at your own jetty—yours to explore Giethoorn’s magical canals from February through October. The chalet is equipped with air conditioning, a TV, and essential kitchen appliances, blending modern convenience with scenic tranquility. While cars stay at the central park lot 400 meters away, the journey across the charming footbridge sets the tone for a unique, laid-back stay.

Start your mornings with coffee by the canal, then stroll or cycle to local cafes serving fresh Dutch pancakes and lakeside seafood. Enjoy a boat tour, visit quaint museums, or dine at waterfront restaurants like De Lindenhof, a two-Michelin-star culinary gem. With endless charm and effortless access to Giethoorn's peaceful beauty, this chalet promises a memorable, pet-free retreat.
