When we arrived we weren’t too sure about the place, but in fact it was just what we needed. Rural, quiet and comfortable, a good night’s stop on our touring holiday. We ate at the hotel as it is a little distance from other restaurants, and enjoyed our meal.

We waren op doorreis van Oostenrijk naar Nederland, zochten nog een fijn plekje om goed op te laden en nog even lekker te wandelen. En toen vonden dit hotel via Expedia. De ontvangst door receptiemedewerker Saïd was geweldig! Hij sprak gelukkig goed Engels, wat in Duitsland niet altijd vanzelfsprekend is ;) We waren iets eerder, en hadden geen verwachtingen dat we al naar de kamer konden. Maar Saïd was super aardig en gaf aan dat de kamer wel al klaar was voor ons :) Kamer was groot, mooi uitzicht op het meer, en een fijne douche. Alles was erg netjes en schoon. Drankjes in de mini bar waren inclusief, ook een mooie service. Echter de nacht was een hel! Zowel het bed als de kussens veel te zacht en warm. Geen airco op de kamer, alleen een luchtcirculatie. Ramen hebben we opgezet, maar de kamer was boven de bar (dus erg gehorig) en ook het verkeer op de weg langs het hotel was erg aanwezig. Dus ramen weer dicht. Geen nacht om echt op te laden dus. De tv hangt behoorlijk ver van het bed af (ondertiteling niet te lezen), dus de tijd doden in de nacht met een Netflxje lukte ook niet echt… Het ontbijt was prima (wat overigens niet inclusief de kamerprijs was, dus goed opletten!). Wat mij betreft was het ontbijt geen 4-sterren, maar gewoon prima. De kok bij het eier-station was super aardig en sprak goed Engels. De andere restaurant medewerkster helaas niet. Uitzicht & omgeving een 10+ Vriendelijkheid Saïd & chef-kok ook een 10 Verder alles tussen de 6 & 7
