Hawks Nest Hideaway - 2 Bed 2 Bath - Screened In Deck

Welcome to your home away from home while exploring the natural beauty of northern Michigan. This newly renovated 2-bed/2-bath condo has been thoughtfully designed with comfort and style in mind. Hangout in the family room with ample seating and a smart TV with cable and streaming apps. Relax on the screened-in patio among the pines, with peek-a-boo views of Lake Michigan. Enjoy home cooked meals in a fully stocked kitchen. Location is perfect for easy access to everything the area has to offer!

THE SPACE:

This ground-level condo is a part of the Hawks Nest community at the Homestead Resort in Glen Arbor. It's the perfect place to stay, right in the heart of northern Michigan's all-season playground. Everything in the condo is brand new as it was just renovated in 2023. Lounge in the family room with plenty of comfortable seating, or enjoy a relaxing evening on the screened-in porch listening to the waves of Lake Michigan.

The kitchen has new appliances and is stocked with everything you'll need to cook a gourmet meal. Enjoy fresh coffee in the morning using the Keurig or French press. The living room is furnished with stylish and comfortable furniture, and a Smart TV with cable and all your favorite streaming apps. All you have to do is log into your accounts.

Both bedrooms are located downstairs and will provide you with a wonderful nights sleep on brand new mattresses, and crisp comfortable sheets. This condo will sleep a maximum of 6 guests with 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Please note that although we can accommodate up to 6 guests, our unit is cozy and it will be quite tight for any more than 4 adults. The fully equipped bathrooms (1 upstairs, 1 downstairs) have everything you need: soft fluffy towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and a hair dryer.

If you plan on heading to the beach or enjoying other outdoor activities, we have an outdoor "Ski Closet" that can be used for storing your adventure equipment, coolers, beach chairs, etc. We kindly ask that you DO NOT store these items inside the condo.

THINGS TO KNOW:

- No A/C, but enjoy cool evening breezes coming off the lake. We have a dehumidifier and offer fans in each room for air circulation.
- No washer/dryer, but we do offer a clothes drying rack and an iron with ironing board.
- The condo uses electric heat, and heat registers are very hot to the touch when in use.
- For safety reasons, fireplace is non-functioning.

GUEST ACCESS:

**NO HOMESTEAD BEACH CLUB ACCESS**
As our guest you will have the condo all to yourself. There is unassigned parking available next to the condo, however, it is first come first serve. If you have multiple vehicles, there is also additional parking near the main Homestead entrance. You will be able to access all common areas except for the Beach Club pool and tennis court.

Lovely condo at The Homestead, which is such a beautiful property on Lake Michigan! Perfect home base for our time in Glen Arbor, with fabulously fun day trips around the county. Comfortable, quiet, plenty of room for two friends who only see each other every couple years to share an up north experience. We especially loved the screen porch!! with the surrounding woods and sounds of the waves on the shore, gorgeous sunsets, it was very peaceful. All the comforts of home, and so many nice amenities. Overall very clean and updated, loved the linens, comfy beds, nice dishes and variety of glasses. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived! Wish we could have stayed longer - a sign of a perfect time Thank you Dylan & Suzanne, for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

Great rental

We have visited a few homestead condos over the years and yours is by far the best! Our stay was nostalgic - we are former Hawks Nest property owners. We love the fireplace, and the pull out bed is a wonderful feature! It is easy to use and made watching tv in the living area comfortable for our family!The condo is very cozy and well appointed... we appreciated all the little details including the holiday decor, back stock of all necessities and overall sense of comfort we felt from the moment we walked in the door! Great Place!

We rented this place and it was perfect for our needs. With the bedrooms below the living areas it worked out great for those sleeping and those awake. The bedrooms were great for us, so clean and so very comfortable. Places wasn't far from Glen Arbor and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Would recommend this place to others. Dylan was very easy to communicate with and we greatly enjoyed our stay.
