Lovely hotel, staff were friendly, couldn’t do enough for us, we were greeted by shalom on arrival, lovely gentleman, asset to this hotel. Highly recommend especially if you are looking to stay near the outdoor ski slope as it’s just across the road, Gloucester quays/town centre just a short drive away.

Room lovely and clean. Comfy beds, easy parking. Sadly the pool and jacuzzi were freezing and this seems to be a long term thing. I probably wouldn’t return due to this issue.

Room was very dusty. Lots of cobwebs and thick dust in places on ledges etc. Bathroom not that clean either. Bed was comfortable and Breakfast was fine. Swimming pool was a bit on the cold side. Car parking cost £5 for an overnight stay.

Disappointing for the money

Disappointing , tired for the money, bar/restaurant staff slow. Food was ok. Hotel room key system not working so you had to wait for a staff member to walk each guest back to their room every time you needed to get in. However, the only positive I can bring to this review was the great check out service I received from Shalom in the morning, cheerful and apologetic and a credit.

My great experience with the BW hotel group

I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the family room, especially at such a reasonable price during the summer holiday. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The swimming pool was the largest I’ve ever experienced—impressive. I’ll be staying here again!
