Beautiful stopover during our roadtrip from Oregon to California Coast. The property is on a beautiful location with views of the lake & bridge. We had a very restful stay.

the room is not clean, dirt everywhere, hairs in the beds, pubic hairs on the bathroom floor. Pans are seriously scratched, kitchen utensils are dirty. We spent more than an hour to clean the room, bathroom, kitchen counter, wash the utensils.

Room wasn’t cleaned, bathroom floor specifically had pee or something sticky on the base of the floor by the toilet, paper thin walls so you can hear all the neighbors and their conversations, the room smelled overwhelmingly musty, pictures on internet don’t represent the typical room. Cobwebs in corners. The only positive thing: the staff were friendly and nice

We regularly stay at Jots when on the South Coast. It's an older facility in an absolutely stellar location and the rooms are great for the money, especially as management continues to upgrade the interiors. It's got some quirks (the HVAC sounds like a 747 taking off) but the bed was comfy, the room was clean, they have new televisions and the linens were decent (always a concern). The room coffee is black water and it'd be nice if you could turn the fluorescent lights off on the porch so you could leave the blinds open at night. But if you have reason to stay in Gold Beach, there is no better option than Jot's We've been back many times and will continue to stay there.

Staff was very friendly. The room was rundown, carpet was dirty, tiles were uplifting and a trip hazard. The shower was filthy and the exhaust fan doesn't work, there is a working window in the bathroom thankfully. There is no elevator and you go up four flights of stairs to get to your room. There is an overpriced restaurant right across the street. There is a pool house with separate changing rooms for men and women, although the women's side door didn't lock, the light was burnt out in the shower making it difficult and creepy to use. The spa was hot but the jets barely worked. The sauna wouldn't heat up. The pool was nice. Probably will skip staying here again.
