Ocean Blue is a beautifully renovated beach house overlooking the main surfing beach at Currumbin. One of only a select few homes perched on Currumbin Hill, the house is privately nestled amongst the rainforest while still enjoying uninterrupted ocean views, and is only a 50-metre stroll to the beach.

Ocean Blue features expansive full-length verandas on both levels, perfectly positioned to capture the sea breeze and panoramic coastline views and with dual living set out over two levels, it is the ideal retreat for families or groups seeking a relaxed coastal escape. Your small, well-behaved dog is also welcome to join you on holiday.

The lower level offers two air-conditioned bedrooms — one with a queen bed and the other with two XL single beds — both complete with built-in wardrobes and ceiling fans. A fully equipped kitchenette includes a dishwasher, cooktop, refrigerator and microwave, while the spacious bathroom features a shower and toilet. The open-plan living and dining area flows seamlessly onto a full-length balcony, where stunning views of Currumbin Beach can be enjoyed from the lounge, kitchen and front bedroom.

When it’s time to unwind indoors, relax in comfort with a large smart TV, Netflix, Foxtel and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Upstairs, the air-conditioned master suite offers a luxurious king-size bed and plantation shutters framing breathtaking ocean views. The ensuite bathroom has been thoughtfully designed for ultimate relaxation, featuring a freestanding bath perfectly positioned so you can soak while gazing out to sea.

A second lounge room provides additional space to relax, complete with comfortable furnishings, smart TV, Netflix, Foxtel and free Wi-Fi.

The designer kitchen is fully equipped with stone benchtops, premium Miele appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave, plus ample bench and storage space — making entertaining effortless.

Ocean Blue is a family home located in a quiet neighbourhood. It is not a party house and activities including bucks nights, hens nights, raves, wedding receptions, gatherings, functions or parties are strictly prohibited.

In accordance with Gold Coast City Council and the Holiday Rental Industry Guidelines, disturbance to the neighbours, including excessive noise and anti-social behaviour is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of all monies paid.

* One small dog permitted upon approval (no cats or other pets permitted). Your dog must not be left alone at the property at any time, and all efforts must be made to minimise barking/ noise. The property is not fully fenced and supervision is required if your pet is outside.

Another fabulous Easter holidays at Ocean Blue. The home is well appointed with all you need for a wonderful stay. Beds and home are extremely comfortable. The views and location are spectacular. We will be back.

Fabulous house, beautiful location

We had six adults, a very young baby and 2 small dogs. The view was incredible, thought we saw a whale, not sure. Some friendly lorikeets visited us daily which was delightful. Such a great house. So comfortable and a short stroll down a side path to the beach to walk on the glorious beach front and to the cafe for morning coffee. We were so relaxed. We were so comfy and the two levels meant that the rest of us were in disturbed by our very young grand baby. All the appliances were excellent. I can’t wait to go back.

Magic Location and House

We stayed for 5 nights over the Easter break in this wonderful home, the views and location to the beach were magnificent and we really loved our stay. Our only downsides were the cleanliness of the home wasn't 100% with dead cockroaches on the floor on both levels, sand on lounges and tables and outside lounge cushions all over the floor - it didn't look like it had been cleaned just prior to us arriving, the home was also unlocked when we arrived, despite having to travel to Coolangatta to retrieve and return keys upon leaving the property. The listing also mentioned a third level with a Ping-Pong table, this looked like a storage room and wasn't inviting to spend any time in plus could have been considered dangerous for children with chemicals/paint and tools stored in this area and I couldn't see any balls or paddles to play should we want to. Thanks again, we will be back :)

Lost potential

Lovely bones to the property but unfortunately it was very grubby. It needs a good in depth clean. The grubbiness predates the dust from the nearby noisy building construction. The 2 very noisy building constructions next door have been going on since January but we were only notified of them one month before our 23 day stay when it was too late to find another property. Advice that the building noise could be shut out by closing all windows and putting on the air conditioners was wrong. A complaint about the dirty accommodation was responded to quickly but ineffectively. The building was advertised as newly renovated but it was partially newly renovated. It has the potential to be a comfortable easy stay. Great for whale watching.

Gold Coast Get Away

The property itself was wonderful, great location and an easy walk to the beaches. We have stayed in many Stayz properties over the years. It was extremely disappointing that we had to supply everything from washing detergent, sugar, basic condiments even salt and pepper etc., which in the past has always been provided by the hosts. We were told to pick up the keys at Coolangatta, and received a text to inform us that the keys had to be retuned, and we checked out by 0930. In normal circumstances, they keys are available at the property and left at the property. We were given a "gift pack" from Gold Coast Holiday Houses, when we collected the keys. This comprised 150ml long life milk, 3 or 4 sugar sachets, two tea bags, couple of packets of biscuits, 1 sachet of detergent, chux and a sponge and a couple of other sachets. For the cost per night, we would have expected a great deal more to have been available, as they have been in all other properties. Communication with the hosts was difficult. I was told that I had to ring them back when the correct person was on duty because I had a question. When asked if they could ring me the reply was no. As stated, the property itself was wonderful. We will not be using Gold Coast Holiday Homes again.

Our family stayed 3 weeks at this home, having 2 living spaces allows for independent living on both floors which just means privacy. If your looking for a good Aussie bbq, forget it, this place does not cater for a BBQ which really takes away from the Aussie bbq culture and limits food options for hosting guests. Be aware, the strangest thing, sheets, pillow cases, bath towels, beach towels, any linen of any kind was not included, we were advised to rent our own as we are from the states and had no resources to fall back on. In the end we just bought it all new, we had never spent a large amount of money on accommodation and not had linen, a real let down.... the lack of no bbq just made this trip a bomb. We will look for a more inclusive property next time, they are there, which do include linen and a BBQ with a beautiful home and views of the ocean for less money. Thanks... We weren't impressed

Wonderful beach house

A wonderful comfortable stay

We had a great time staying at Ocean Blue. The view is fabulous and there is always something happening on the beach which you can stroll down to at any time of day. Good cooking facilities and comfortable beds (bring your own linen). Nothing not to like.
