Located right in the heart of town yet in a wonderfully quiet setting, we warmly welcome you to our beautiful, high-quality vacation apartment, “Hahnenklee Meine Perle,” in the nature and adventure paradise of Hahnenklee-Bockswiese.
Just 100 metres away, you’ll find the pedestrian zone in Hahnenklee with its cozy restaurants and shops, and another 100 metres further on is the valley station for an action-packed day at ErlebnisBocksBerg. Take the nostalgic aerial cableway or chairlift up, and enjoy a fantastic day out as a family, as a couple, or with friends: from the summer toboggan run, tubing run (tire slide), the ZAB—Zipline Adventure Bocksberg (a climbing park, high ropes course, and zipline all in one), a fun park with a playground, trampoline, and more, all the way to a downhill ride on the unique Mountain-Carts and cozy dining at the BocksBergHütte—nothing stands in the way of an unforgettable experience. The Hahnenklee Downhill Park also offers fantastic conditions for all downhill enthusiasts and is extremely popular among the scene.
The apartment is located on the top floor of the building and features a spacious living/dining area with an integrated, fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, and a covered balcony. A staircase leads to the two bedrooms. One features a spacious box-spring bed (1.80 x 2 m) and a single bed (90 x 200 cm) in a cozy alcove. The second, directly adjacent bedroom has a double bed (1.4 x 2 m) with a great view of the Bocksberg.
The best part: a cozy, warm infrared cabin with different lighting options for two people is waiting for you. Whether after a winter walk or a tobogganing outing in freezing temperatures, or a long hike or bike ride, here you can recharge in soothing warmth and do your body some good.
A Blu-ray player and Wi-Fi are, of course, available. If you have a Netflix, Amazon, or other streaming account, you can also use these services on the TV during your vacation after logging in.
A high chair, children’s cutlery, and a small freezer compartment in the refrigerator are available. A travel crib or a safety rail for the 90x200 m bed can be provided upon request.
A set of bed linens and towels can be booked as an add-on for an extra charge of 18 € per person.
There is a storage room in the basement for bicycles, sleds, skis, or other items.
Hahnenklee-Bockswiese is located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Oberharzer Wasserwirtschaft” and is approximately 16 km from the historic imperial city of Goslar, which is also an UNESCO World Heritage Site along with the Rammelsberg mine. Goslar, with its wonderful old town, and the Rammelsberg visitor mine are absolutely worth seeing and definitely worth a visit.
A special gem of the town is the so-called “Liebesbankweg” (Love Bench Trail). When it was inaugurated in 2007, it was the first—and at that time the only—premium hiking trail in all of Lower Saxony. On one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the Harz Mountains, offering fantastic views, you’ll enjoy numerous highlights along its seven-kilometer length. Twenty-five unique and individually designed benches symbolizing love and married life, the Gate of Love, “Walking Rhyme” stones, the Spring of Love, marble, stone, and iron sculptures, carved Harz gondolas, a fantastic water playground, a Hundertwasser-style footbath, and a couples’ swing—all of this is waiting for you to discover it.
Throughout the year, a wide variety of local events await you, focusing on family, hiking, biking, vacations with your dog, and much more. Especially during school breaks, there are daily events for families with children to enjoy a wonderful time with us—and, of course, plenty of opportunities to experience a fantastic hiking, biking, or downhill vacation on countless kilometres of hiking and biking trails. Hahnenklee is located in the heart of the Harz Mountain Bike Arena and is one of the most popular hiking and family destinations in the Harz Mountains.
A well-maintained residential complex with a garden, quietly situated yet very central.
In Hahnenklee, a visitor’s fee is currently charged at €3.00 per adult per night and €1.50 per child aged 6–17 per night. The visitor’s fee must be paid on site upon arrival.
