Romantic Villa Angelina is a beautiful Istrian stone house surrounded by a large fenced and wonderful garden and a forrest full of colors and fragrances (total area is 5000 m2). Built in 1912. and renovated with care and love in 2015.

It offers a unique country experience with all the amenities for a comfortable holiday.

Villa Angelina is situated in a small and peacefull village of Jakačići in the hearthland of Istria and it is for those desiring a very special vacation. It offers an atmosphere of such tranquillity that occupants have no choice but to switch off from city life.

Especially beautiful are mornings and evenings where you can enjoy drinking a cup of coffee in the oakwood or just reading a book on a deck chair or listening to a birds chirping while smelling so pleasant scents of nature.
The climate in our village is approximately 2-5 degress lower than the climate nearby the sea, without a swelter, so you can equally enjoy in our midday sun while sunbathing, swimming in the pool or riding a bicycle. At nights you can enjoy drinking a glass of good Istrian wine under the big black sky covered with a multitude of shining stars.
Vila Angelina consists of a ground floor and has 150 m2. Inside of the house is very cold thanks to the 60 cm thick stone walls. Behind the house there is an outdoor swimming pool of 24 m2. Air condition is situated in one of the bedrooms and can cover 50 m2. Under the large walnut tree there is a new built-in barbecue where you can enjoy throught day and night.

In our beautiful garden you can also find our local fruits. If you come in June you can find delicious wild forest strawberries with a special and excellent taste and so delicious yellow cherries. In August you will find plums. And if you come in September you will find nuts and mushrooms. Of course, you are allowed to taste all our fruits.

Around the village you can also enjoy discovering hidden treasors of surrounding Istrian beauties . There are plenty of bike and hike routs around the village , beautiful medieval towns on the hills to explore , cultural-historic monuments to see, waterfalls, caves, restaurants with a delicious local dishes to try, and many various cultural events to visit. The mount Učka nature park is just 30 min away and can be seen from the top of the garden. The first beaches are only 25 min away (Rovinj or Rabac).

Villa Angelina is suitable for nature and country lovers, families with children and pets, young and elderly couples but single travelers as well.

The owner Alenka lives in the city of Pula but will be on site to welcome you and ensure that your stay would be an unforgettable expirience.

Traditional Croatian House

We spent two weeks here and enjoyed the surrounding area and extensive outside space, including the different furniture areas and beautifully clean pool. The house was spotless and has retained many of its original features. Alenka was a very attentive host and always available to respond to any queries we had. We visited many places including Porec, Rovinj, Pula, Opatija, Brsec and Labin. The local pizza restaurant in Zminj is fantastic - very reasonably priced. Also worth a visit is Beram and it’s fantastic restaurant at the top of the hill! A fabulous area to explore, great roads for driving and many courteous local drivers! Very handy to have a little shop so close for bread etc. Thank you, Alenka, for making us so welcome!

Altes Haus mit Charme

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Absoluter Pluspunkt ist der schöne, große Pool mit vielen Liegemöglichkeiten und der riesige Garten, der komplett eingezĂ€unt ist - mit kleinen Kindern also super! Das Haus und die Einrichtung ist sehr alt, aber funktional. Es hat trotzdem seinen Charme und man fĂŒhlt sich wie im Urlaub bei Oma damals :) Vor allem der Garten ist schön angelegt, innen fehlt es etwas an GemĂŒtlichkeit. Die Lage ist sehr abgelegen, zu Fuß kann man nur zum Supermarkt gegenĂŒber, der hat aber alles was man braucht! Mit dem Auto ist man in 40 Min. in Rovinj und in 20 Minuten in Rabac am Strand!

Great stay in Istria

We really enjoyed our stay at the wonderful old farm house in central Istria. The location was great for exploring the Istrian peninsula. We loved relaxing and cooking by the pool in the afternoon and eating in the outdoor eating area. Alenka was a great host. Overall a wonderful property for people wanting to be off the beaten path and have room to stretch out.

Urlaub im Paradies

Genau so wie beschrieben. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Wunderschöner, großer, natĂŒrlicher Garten. Sehr schöner und gut temperierter Pool. Das Haus ist klein, aber fein. Alles vorhanden was man zum Leben braucht und vorallem sehr sauber! Trotz an der Straße gelegen, ist es absolut ruhig. Alenka ist eine superliebe und freundliche Gastgeberin, die bei Fragen und WĂŒnschen jederzeit erreichbar war. FĂŒr uns und unsere zwei Hunde waren es zwei perfekte und erholsame Wochen! Chillen unter den Walnussbaum

Das Anwesen war sehr gepflegt und weitlĂ€ufig, optimal fĂŒr Familien mit Hund. Man kann Federball, Fußball etc. auf den großen Wiesen problemlos spielen. Die Sitzgruppe unter dem Walnussbaum ist auch an heißen Tagen ein schattiges PlĂ€tzchen. Den Grill gleich daneben haben wir abends auch fĂŒr ein Feuer genutzt. Im Laden gegenĂŒber {so klein er auch ist} gibt es alles was man braucht. Der Empfang und die Verabschiedung durch Alenka waren sehr herzlich. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und sind entspannt und voller positiver Erinnerungen nach Hause gekommen.

Schönens ruhiges entspanntes Anwesen

Wir waren zwei Familien, vier Erwachsene und drei Kinder und hatten eine sehr schöne Woche. Die Villa ist ein altes schön renoviertes uriges Haus in einer sehr ruhigen Lage, gerĂ€umige Zimmer und augestatten mit allem was man braucht. Der Pool war das Highlight - zu jeder Tageszeit. Der Garten ist riesig und fĂŒr so einige Spielarten geeignet. Sehr vorteilhaft - der kleine Laden gegenĂŒber, hat zwar etwas gedauert bis sie kapiert haben das wir Brötchen haben wollten - aber das Brot war auch ganz OK. Die Vermieterin Alenka ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt und wĂŒrden jederzeit wieder hin fahren.

Einfach wunderbar!!

Das GrundstĂŒck ist riesengroß und mit mehreren Sitzmöglichkeiten ausgestattet, sodass man auch in geteilten GrĂŒppchen oder einzeln unabhĂ€ngig voneinander was machen kann, ohne sich gegenseitig zu stören, oder in die Quere zu kommen... also im Pool toben, auf der Wiese Badminton spielen, unter den BĂ€umen enspannen, etc. Das Haus ist sehr gemĂŒtlich eingerichtet und mit allen notwendlichen Dingen ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt und absolut nichts vermisst. Sowohl das GrundstĂŒck wie auch das Haus sind sehr sauber!!! Die Besitzerin war sehr freudlich und hilfsbereit. Sie empfiehl uns schöne StrĂ€nde und gab Tipps fĂŒr die AusflĂŒge. Wir sind vollkommen zufrieden. Die Unterkunft ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Nice villa with great garden

Huge garden with several sitting areas. Nice pool with shower. Great location for visiting all parts of Istria. Three big bedrooms and two baths. Old house stayed cool on hot days (30+C) and did not require air conditioning in our opinion. Only kitchen for sitting together indoors though. Great service from owner and her parents. Really enhoyable stay with wife and three kids between 8 and 13.
