This Cozy Ranch Guest house is located between Granbury and Glen Rose with lots of things to do in the area. Turn right and you're 5 minutes to Granbury square. Turn left and you're 15 minutes to Glen Rose and Dinosaur Valley State Park. This new house sleeps 4 comfortably with vaulted ceilings in the living space and a gas fireplace for those cool evenings. Views of the horses or cattle from the house along with a back deck for dinner or drinks outside. The kitchen features all new appliances for cooking or use the BBQ out front. If you’re looking to take your boat to the lake (Lake Granbury) we have plenty of parking for a boat and trailer and you’re only 5 minutes to the boat ramp.

This was the perfect location for our trip to Glen Rose. The hosts were responsive and extremely helpful, and the house was well-appointed, clean, and had just the right amount of personal touch. We enjoyed meeting the animals, especially the longhorns. We would recommend this place to anyone coming to the Glen Rose area.

A girlfriend and I were looking for a place between our two cities where we could meet and have a relaxing weekend to get caught up.This guest house is nicer than what the pictures show! It looks brand new and is well stocked with quality everything. Both of us slept fantastic on the comfortable beds and the hosts were prompt and friendly. It is inside their locked gate, very safe, and a great location outside of the Granbury traffic. It was fun feeding the quarter horses their treats each day. Will definitely recommend it and plan to go again in the future.

The description is accurate. It's a great house. Very well kept, very comfortable. The property is about 10 minutes from downtown - very easy drive. We like being out of town where it's quiet, but close enough to go into town when we want. The main house is about 100 yards from the guest house, with the guest house closer to the main road.The host was great. Always communicated promptly, and even checked on us via email to make sure that everything was good - never saw them. I know some guests don't like to see their hosts. I actually like meeting people, so if we stay again, maybe we'll have the pleasure.We would certainly stay here again.

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful time staying here! The owner was very nice and super responsive. We even got to meet some of the animals on the property. My daughter had a blast! We really appreciated all of the amenities, and the house was bigger than we expected, which was a bonus! We hope to come back and stay here again another time!

Wonderful stay!

The property and pictures were just as described, and Brad was quick to communicate as needed. The space was very comfortable for 3 adults. While there is a road nearby, it was hard to hear any traffic inside and not that visible. We had a wonderful time and ate excited to visit again!

Amazing holiday weekend

We wanted to get away with our 7 and 9 year old kids. The guest house is located in perfect distance between granbury and glen rose for us to get to Fossil Rim, Dinosaur Park and Glen rose town square. Back at the house our kids were thrilled to feed the horses and pet Buck the dog and the goats. Brad and his family were so very hospitable - they invited us and the kids to meet their longhorns, bunnies and our son’s favorite Pickle the duck. The home itself has everything you need - a great kitchen and bright dining room. There is a Weber grill we used for burgers and steaks and more than anything enjoyed seeing the kids disconnect from their electronic devices and enjoy roaming the property. I couldn’t recommend this place more and we definitely look forward to coming back!

Awesome place to stay!

The property was very nice and clean with an awesome view. The property owner was also very kind and allowed my son to meet all of his animals which included horses, chickens, goats, rabbits, and cows. Great place and would recommend it to anybody who is staying around Granbury or Glen Rose.

Home away from Home

We cannot give high enough praise to this wonderful ranch house in Granbury. It truly was perfect for our needs when we stayed in the area for a family wedding. It served as a home base for our family of four as we bounced around to several commitments - some in Granbury and others in Glen Rose. It is perfectly situated between the two towns with easy access to all the amenities and attractions the area has to offer. Brad went above and beyond to host us and check on us and to help us when we left an item behind after checkout. I can’t think of anything that would’ve made our stay or experience any better. We hope to return in the future!

Great experience!

We had a group of five adults on a bachelorette weekend/shopping trip around Granbury. We chose to stay here because it was less expensive than the other options that were available for a group our size, and I’m so glad we did because we had a fantastic experience! It was the perfect size for us, very cute and well maintained. Communication was great and everyone we met was so friendly. We even got to meet some of the animals and give them treats. I would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing place to “get away”

My friend and I wanted a girls trip where we might shop a day and also relax- play games, do a puzzle, sip some wine, and just visit. This was the place! We never got out of our pajamas one day as we were just so cozy. Loved everything about it.
