This place had the best view of Lake Granbury that we have seen! The balconies were the most amazing places to have coffee. Really appreciated the almost instant feedback I had with any questions. If I had to think of something that was wrong with the place, it would only be that it had a lot of stairs, but to be expected with such an amazing view!

The house is beautiful and the views can’t be beat. We had 8 people and had enough room for all to enjoy the time on the lake. The dock is a plus if you like boating and fishing.Our only complaint is the ceiling fans don’t work on the two patios (only one does), the lighting on the dock and dock furniture needs some work.

Lakehouse

We had a great stay at Granbury Lake. Lovely property. Beds and bathrooms were great along with a wonderful view from almost every room. I failed to see how many stairs are required to go up to front door then down to lower floor and then also outside down to dock. It was all beautiful however we are an older group with one handicapped gal on a cane and another very weak from chemo so the stairs were difficult for those. Again this was not the hosts fault but mine for not realizing it was an issue for those older folks. We managed ok and they had a wonderful time on the floors they could manage. Was a special time with coffee on the balconies and watching the sun come up over the water.

Cousin week!

We have 5 girl cousins from different places and this was a great place for us to meet. The 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms are a plus for us ladies. There are stairs but we had no problem with that. Some walked every morning in the neighborhood. Very quiet area. Love the views from living area and all bedrooms! Nice deck to relax and visit. I will recommend to others and would rent again! Terri

Beautiful Home - Lots of Room

This home is beautiful, it had everything we needed. The kitchen was well appointed and the appliances worked well. There is one bedroom with an en-suite and another full bath on the main level where the kitchen and living area is, three more bedrooms (including one with an en-suite) and I think two more bathrooms below, with a gorgeous deck overlooking the lake. Be prepared for stairs.

Family 60th birthday getaway

Great property, secluded from other properties (can’t see the neighbors on either side). Unobstructed views of the lake from multiple decks, even from the master shower. Great getaway, but yet close to town square and amenities. Great to step away as an escape from the rat race we normally live

This was our second girlfriend’s getaway at this house. Great place for 8-10 friends! Beautiful views of the lake. Peaceful surroundings. Furnished with everything you’d need for meals at ‘home.’ Easy communication with the owner.

Family Fun and Comfort

We enjoyed the stay at this house with a beautiful view of the lake. The comfort of the rooms and space was perfect for our family needs with several different age kids. Close enough to Granbury square to enjoy but far enough for peace and quiet. The neighborhood was great for walks, even with a stroller! The house had everything we needed and was quiet and comfortable.

Beautiful weekend!

Great girlfriends getaway weekend! As my friend said, a la Mary Poppins, it was “practically perfect in every way.” Top 3 favorites: incredible lake views from both levels, large dining table for 8, & equally spacious & comfortable living room seating for visiting & games
as well as outdoor seating on the balconies. As others have mentioned, there is only one bedroom on the main floor
but the stairs to the lower level were ‘negotiable,’ even for most of us septuagenarians. If you’re a large group, plan to carpool, as there is only parking for 3 cars. But overall, this is the best rental we’ve found for our group in many years!

It was great; however too many stairs to dock and stairs inside a little steep——we are all 65+and just getting too old for stairs!!! Overall it was great! Need to label switches for lights and fans and some of the fans need attention!

Quiet Area with Stunning Views

The pictures really don't do the property and views justice. This was a beautiful property with great natural views that is perfect for a family vacation or a get away with friends. The neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are friendly. The host had every starter we needed including a fully stocked kitchen to cook as little or as much as you want. Would certainly stay again
