TrÚs agréable séjour

Appartement spacieux et bien situĂ©, avec accĂšs direct Ă  la plage de Grand-Case. Accueil impeccable par Christophe, qui s'est assurĂ© que nous ne manquions de rien pendant toute la durĂ©e de notre sĂ©jour. Nous avons particuliĂšrement apprĂ©ciĂ© le petit dĂ©jeuner offert et les transats mis Ă  notre disposition par Captain Frenchy, dont toute l'Ă©quipe est absolument adorable. Le seul bĂ©mol est, comme d'autres l'ont fait remarquer, le niveau sonore de la musique du Rainbow CafĂ© certains soirs, mais on s'y fait et cela se termine Ă  une heure raisonnable (vers 23 h). Grand-Case est un endroit incroyable oĂč sĂ©journer, avec ses nombreux restaurants gastronomiques et ses jolies boutiques. Nous avons adorĂ© nos vacances.

Great Stay!

We loved our visit this year. Even though we had one day of clouds and one day torrential rains (7 inches) we had a great week! Water was calm and warm. I have to admit that I did not miss the noise from the Rainbow Cafe this visit (as they were closed).

Fabulous condo on beautiful Grande Case beach!

My husband and I had another wonderful vacation at this great condo right on Grande Case beach. This was our second time at the condo, and it was absolutely lovely. The beach is just down the stairs from the patio, and you can choose to stay on the patio or set yourself up with chairs and umbrellas from one of the restaurants on either side of the condo -- Captain Frenchy or Rainbow Cafe. We often sat on the Rainbow Cafe side, and the wonderful waiters brought us many delicious frozen drinks throughout the day. The condo is modern, well-equipped, and well air conditioned. Although on this trip it was only my husband and me, last time we came we brought our teenage son, and there was plenty of room with two bedrooms and bathrooms. The food in Grande Case is amazing, and we had many wonderful meals along the strip. We also loved sitting on the well-furnished patio in the evening, to look at the stars. Christophe and Luna are wonderful hosts and we hope to return next year!

Will definitely book this place again. It was the perfect location for what we were expecting on our vacation. Spectacular view, near great restaurants, free beach chairs and breakfast. The enormous balcony was perfect. Kitchen was well equipped. Stocked with necessary paper items as well. No electrical outages. Large closets with plenty of hangers!!! Luna was very responsive. We did have a slight issue with mosquitos(1st time in 7 times I've been to the island), but that's nature for you. In other reviews, there were complaints about the noise. We were expecting it and for us it wasnt a big deal. We slept right through it. Not sure how it would have been if Rainbow Cafe was open for the season. Music was off by 6pm week nights and I think before 12am on the weekends. I'm sure I'm missing some other great qualities. Run, don't walk, to book this place.

Absolutely amazing! This place is a dream.If you’re looking for the perfect beachfront escape, stop your search—this is it. Nestled right between Captain Frenchy and Rainbow CafĂ©, the location couldn’t be more ideal. Waking up to the sound of the ocean, stepping out onto powdery white sand, and having some of the best beachside dining and nightlife just steps away—it was everything I could’ve hoped for in a vacation.The property itself was spotless, comfortable, and had breathtaking views that made every morning feel like a postcard moment. And the sunset from the balcony? Truly one of the best on the entire island—absolutely mesmerizing and unforgettable.You truly get the best of both relaxation and excitement here.And a big shoutout to Chris—he was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable.I would absolutely return. This spot checks all the boxes!

Stunning Beachfront

The property is exactly as described. Absolutely no complaints. Read the reviews, yes the music from Rainbow Cafe can be loud but it ends relatively early (10:45pm on weekend, much earlier weekdays). The terrace is spectacular. The apartment is well furnished. Breakfast at Frenchys is generous and delicious. Will definitely book again.

Casa molto bella, direttamente su la spiaggia, opzione colazione in ristorante di fianco, ci sono tutti i confort in casa, l’unica cosa ho trovato i scarafaggi in casa e fuori sul terrazzo molto bello e ampio, con le lampade accese di sera fuori sono arrivate migliaia di moscerini e insetti che abbiamo dovuto chiudere le porti e finestre. Proprietario molto gentile e ci ha fatto entrare in tarda mattinata poichĂ© la casa era libera.

A Friendly Paradaise

The place is beautiful and the pictures don’t do it justice. Even though this was a dream vacation, our stay felt like a home away from home. Luna helped with communicating through VRBO and we met Christophe in person and he showed us around and made us feel welcome from the moment we got there. I think the best part for me was having everything within walking distance.. bodega, restaurants, cafes, activity desk etc. And of course the beautiful crystal clear beach with powder soft sand just footsteps away from the back porch. Frenchys next door is great and the service and attention was top level. Rainbow Cafe is a beautiful restaurant. The menu is a bit pricey but it’s worth the occasional splurge. There is a pizza stop directly across the street that makes pizzas to order.. delicious! Truly, everyone is pleasant and friendly and the island has so much history. My only regret is booking only for one week. PS: to anyone who does book. Take a look at the books and magazines on the coffee table. We finally opened them on day 3 and there is a lot of information on events and activities and historical facts about the island. A lot of good information for when you first get there if you don’t know what you want to do yet.

Bachelorette Party of 5!

The stay was absolutely phenomenal!!!! This is a prime location with a breathtaking view of the most crystal clear calm water you’ll ever see. We stayed on the first floor, which gave us a huge balcony with a modern glass railing the didn’t obstruct our view of the beach. Also big enough for my party of 5 to lounge together plus more space. The inside of the two bedroom two bath condo was furnished nicely. Our reservation included a big breakfast provided by Captain Frenchies restaurant, located right next to our condo. Which allow us to enjoy breakfast while overlooking the beach. Our host, Luna, was so kind and generous. Even when our bathroom sink clogged, she immediately took care of it. They provide both beach towels and bath towels. Also, they provide parking for a small compact car inside their garage below the building, or outside of the building. The area is located near so many restaurants and shops within walking distance. I highly recommend this place!!

I would love to be able to write a positive review as the apartment and location were great - HOWEVER - Someone accessed the property one evening while we were at dinner and stole an expensive $10k watch. The owner denied all knowledge of any workers at the property, which is not true and told me that i must have lost it somewhere else. DO NOT TRUST

Great Condo on the Beach in Grand Case

We had a great stay at this beachfront condo. The view is spectacular, and having the huge terrace is a real bonus. Although we did not cook any meals, my wife said that the kitchen was very well - equipped. It was great having breakfast at Captain Frenchy's -- we enjoyed drinks in the afternoon there as well. There are many fabulous restaurants all within walking distance -- that was a real bonus. Finally, there was a parking place provided -- critical in this location! We cannot wait to return.

Can’t beat Location

Overall the property is excellent , can’t beat this location so close to the water with an awesome view. Free breakfast and chairs at the beach is an added bonus . Breakfast was very good . Christophe was excellent to any of are needs and questions . He was always available . Only downfall with this property is the music on either side of the property especially in the evenings and on the weekend can get very loud .

This is our second time staying at Calypso. Everything was perfect. The location cannot be beat. Grand Case truly has some of the best food on the island. Checking in and out was a breeze due to the very helpful Christophe. Can not wait to book our next trip to this paradise.

Excellent location

We spent 5 nights here, its an amazing 2 bedroom condo in a great location. It has a huge patio overlooking the ocean and only a few steps away. You are between two beach clubs/restaurants ao there is music but we enjoyed it. It wasn't very loud during the day and most evenings it was off between 530 to 8pm. Friday and Saturday evenings it was on a bit later but we totally slept through it. I think this condo is in the best part of the beach with easy access to food, drinks and anything else you may need. We loved our stay in Grand Case

Perfect except for the loud music

The apartment itself was wonderful with all the amenities and our first floor had the best deck with a spectacular view of the beach. It is located close to all of the restaurants, but too close to two of them. It is right in between two restaurants, one that just reopened and has almost daily parties with loud thumping music. Sunday the music was all day. Other days it could start at 3 or later and go to 11-12. Perfect if you’re there to party or stay up late, not perfect for families. The hosts tried hard to help but can’t control it. The hosts also made a mistake and did not inform us that beach chairs and breakfast are free, we found out the day before we left. Grand Case is beautiful and recommended.

Beautiful beach

The property itself is amazing and true to the pictures online. The location is convenient for food, groceries and of course the beach. Rooms are clean and everything works well. Breakfast is just a croissant and coffee (no refills) at the restaurant next door so don’t expect too much unless you are willing to pay 25£ every day. While there is underground parking, we were told to park on the street as people park in front of the garage and you will not be able to get in or out. So parking was very troublesome as we had to find parking on the street as there was always cars blocking the garage. We were told the Rainbow restaurant will help park our car but they were not helpful. Because we parked on the street, our rental was stolen! It’s a pity that we could have avoided it if we had garage access. The apartment situated between 2 restaurants-Rainbow and Captain Frenchy The Rainbow restaurant had their music on everyday from about 10 AM till late, sometimes to midnight. The Rainbow restaurant music was just too loud for us to enjoy being outside on our deck. If you are looking for a quiet place, Rainbow restaurant will ruin it for you. I will return to grand case but this apartment is ruined by the noise from Rainbow

Beautiful week in Grande Case

We had a wonderful week in SXM, and at a place that is becoming one of our favorites to stay. The apartment itself is wonderful and well-appointed, but the patio is fantastic! Right on the beach in the middle of everything. Did feel a little old as both beach bars next door are quite popular! Perfect place to enjoy beautiful St. Martin sunsets, with great restaurants only steps away! We will be back (again)!!!
