the hotel is average, i wouldnt say its 5 star which is what is states on hotels.com website, when we got there they have a 4 star logo at the front lobby reception I would rather stay at LUX Belle Mere which is more of a superior and 5* hotel experience and the money paid for Grand Gaube is not justified as its very average

The staff were incredible, very friendly and welcoming towards my wife and I and our 18 month old daughter. Veer, Viresh, Krishi amongst others were exceptional. The food and beverage was of great quality and the suite we had was beautiful. It was a sad day when we had to leave for sure!! Our stay for our honeymoon was everything and more, 10/10 would recommend anyone to stay here.

The staff were amazing and very helpful especially with my son who has severe learning disabilities and is nonverbal. They accommodated each and every request for him which made such a difference for us. Such a welcoming and inclusive hotel and staff. The team at the Palm Court restaurant for breakfast and dinner were beyond brilliant - managing our timings and needs for him on demand. 10000% brilliant, cannot wait to come back! Take of two halves. Staff in the restaurants and bar great, food was also great. The but, I booked an ocean view suite and to say it needed renovating is an under statement. It was large with outdoor decking but the furniture was filthy and stained, little pools of water in the room. It’s not a good sign when you have to put a towel on every piece of furniture to feel like it was clean!

The staff at Lux Grand Gaube go out of their way to accommodate you. They are all extremely friendly and welcoming. Food and drink choices are extensive and excellent quality, plenty of different dining options available, ice cream car and cocktail trucks are fun extras. Our room (Ocean suite) had great amenities with daily housekeeping and mini bar restocking. Balcony was top class, including double lounger, comfy chairs, bath and shower - views to die for. We visited the library on our last day and would have spent more time in there if we’d found it sooner. All in all a great all inclusive.

Excellent resort. Lots of activities to do for free. Can book the spa jacuzzi and sauna for 45 mins at a time. Definitely plan your meals in advance to reserve at the nice restaurants. Food is excellent everywhere and staff are extremely nice. Highly recommend

Not a great stay. Initial check in was not that attentive. They did not explain how things worked. Also the initial check in staff was not friendly which affected the first impressions. Some staff were brilliant but that was after the issues and more of a proactive approach. The resort is beautiful but the staff and cleansiness of the rooms let it down massively. There was also no acknowledgement of my issues on check out. So much potential to improve the customer service as well as bringing the hotel to the 21st century and then actually make it feel like a 5 star hotel as it currently feels more like a 4 star hotel.
