Welcome to "The Main Stay" in the heart of downtown GJ

Remodeled and updated 1930’s charmer located in the heart of historic downtown GJ. Home is newly furnished; from floor to ceiling. The homes original, beautiful archways lead you through 1500 square feet of comfortable living space. Cozy up to the brand-new gas fire place or enjoy the fresh Colorado air on the front porch.
The Space
This 3 bedroom two bath sleeps 8.
Two bedrooms located downstairs while the master suite is a luxurious, huge loft with private bathroom, reading nook, T.V (loaded with free Netflix) and balcony. The reading nook’s comfortable chair converts to a twin pull out.
One downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, the other has bunk beds plus a single twin.
Kid friendly (highchair, bunk beds, baby gates, kids plates, cups etc. toys), fully fenced back yard (landscaping coming soon), washer and dryer, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, wifi, two flat screen TV’s, gas grill and fire pit.
Enjoy dinner at one of downtown’s 30 restaurants or make a home cooked meal in the fully stocked kitchen and dining room.
This home is truly located in historic downtown Grand Junction, walking distance to downtown shopping, dining and theatres (6 blocks), Lincoln Park Pool/Golf/Park (6 blocks), Riverfront trail and Los Colonias Park/Amphitheater (10 blocks), St. Mary’s hospital (2.2 miles) and CMU (1.3 Miles). Equal distance (12 miles) to Palisade, known for its abundance of wineries and fresh produce and Fruita, known for its world class mountain biking. 8 miles to the Colorado National Monument and 21 miles to skiing at Powderhorn Mountain Resort.

Bringing your bike? Rest assured you can park it in the fully fenced backyard or spacious basement.

Charming

A charming cottage style home. Plenty of room for us and our 2 adult children. Clean, good location, had everything we needed. During our stay it was 100+ degrees everyday, the A/C is a swamp cooler which was not specified on web site, unless I missed that. It worked sufficiently except for the 2 downstairs bedroom. The upstairs bedroom was like an icebox and noisy.

Beautiful home!

This home is absolutely lovely and was perfect for our stay. The decor and updates are beautiful and the home comfortably accommodated all of us. Great bedroom layout. Nice walk into downtown Grand Junction. One piece of feedback for the owner is that we couldn't find any measuring cups! Might be good to get a set. Otherwise, it was perfect and we will definitely stay again!

Fabulous Home!

We loved our stay at The Main Stay. They had everything you need! Beautiful natural lighting, clean spaces, nice updates, off street parking, laundry, you name it. I also loved all the real plants. Such a great touch.

Great weekend get away!

We loved this property. It looks brand new and has nice amenities including a nice deck out front, space in the backyard to sit and a lovely living room with a gas fireplace we loved using on the cold nights. They also had live plants in the home and somehow that just made it much more comfortable than other places we’ve stayed recently. We came for the weekend to host our college kids and it was close to campus, restaurants, and the store. It was easy to have the kids and their friends over for dinner. On our move in day we had a small issue and the owner was very attentive and even came over to check to see that we were satisfied, which felt like an extra dose of attention. This location will definitely be on our list for future stays! Thanks so much.
