Cabin provides a relaxing stay in Grand Lake
We liked this cabin a lot -- the kitchen had modern appliances and the dining area and living room were open spaces that created a feeling of spaciousness. A couple of deer walked by the back of the lot on our first day and that's always nice. It's a bit disconcerting when you walk around the cabin at night since there are no curtains at the front of the house. One must be discrete! The bedroom was stuffy and we were unable to open the windows in that room. We solved that problem by opening both the front and back doors to create a draft. On the whole it was a good experience.

Nice small home - dated areas. Improvements nice. Floor very dirty upon arrival.
Had to clean before moving things in. Moose and deer entertained us. Very close to Rocky Mountain national park. Thanks for sharing your home.

Nice place to stay
Cozy and comfortable cottage very close to Trail Ridge Road and the less-busy west side of Rocky Mountain National Park. There were a few maintenance issues that would have improved the appearance of the property but nothing that effected our comfort or convenience. Although there is a TV, there is no reception. The VRBO property description does not list TV as an amenity, but I missed that detail. Columbine Lake is a private community, nice to walk around. Grand Lake, a busy resort community, was very close by: fun to visit but happy we stayed away from the crowds.

Wonderful little cabin!
The cabin is nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The back deck gets sunshine all day long. We would definitely return to this property in the future.
