Not worth it

I stayed at Sonesta for three nights, and while the room itself was decent, the customer service left much to be desired. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a blunt “What you need?” from the front desk—not exactly the welcoming tone you’d expect from a hospitality team. The gym was a highlight—clean, well-equipped, and functional. Unfortunately, the pool was another story: it was dirty, filled with hair, and had a disturbing green/yellow tint that made it unusable. I requested new sheets during my stay, but no one ever followed through. Interestingly, during what appeared to be a visit from upper management or an audit, the staff suddenly became attentive and professional. That vanished the very next day, and the service returned to being unresponsive and indifferent. Honestly, I should have booked the Belmont—it was $100 cheaper and likely a better experience overall.

The hotel was modern looking. Check staff were friendly and helpful. Lobby very nice looking. My room was modern looking, neat and mostly clean. However, the vent in the bathroom was EXTREMELY DUSTY. Like multiple layer thick. I have allergies so I notice these things. The curtain were a little broken. And as I was leaving there were wet dog smells in the air.
