Wonderful 2 weeks in the Médoc

We stayed here as a couple for two weeks, with friends and family joining us as well. The house, property and neighborhood were even better than in the pictures. Everything is super clean and stylish. The garden was lovely to sit in and have lunch outside. The house is on a quiet road, away from the campgrounds and other tourists, in a small town but close enough to supermarkets and a boulangerie. There are trails to walk on all around and it is a short drive to hikes in Soulac, Montalivet and Phare de Richard. The beaches are beautiful and just 5-10 minutes drive, with easy parking and never too crowded. It’s easy to book wine tastings nearby and in Paulliac (45 minutes) or Margaux (1 hr). And we were very pleased with the restaurants in the nearby towns - we ate and drank very well. The only downsides were the cell phone and wifi reception, but these were easily solved with a hot spot. And you need a car to get around. But we cannot say enough good things about Olivier and the property. Would definitely come do it all again.

Ein sehr schönes Haus, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist prima, die Strände sind mit dem Fahrrad oder Auto gut zu erreichen, ein Supermarkt nicht so weit entfernt.Vermieter und Hund des Vermieters, der einen regelmäßig begrüßt, sind sehr freundlich.Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Séjour avec chiens

Nous sommes arrivées trois adultes avec trois chiens et c'est la possibilité de l'accueil des chiens qui nous a fait choisir cette location où nous étions très bien installées.L'hôte est charmant et accueillant. Nous reviendrons et je recommanderai ce gite qui est propre et qui a un jardin clôturé...

Hébergement au top

Location très agréable, rien ne manque. Propriétaire accueillant et disponible. Nous avons louer le logement pour 15 jours, à 15 mn de Soulac, location au top quand on a un chien : jardin clôturé et portail, parfait pour notre chien.

J'étais venu il y a bien longtemps dans la région. Je ne regrette pas mon nouveau séjour. Location agréable, au calme. De nombreuses ballades aux alentours et surtout un propriétaire au top , comme rarement rencontré.

très bon séjour

Nous avons passé une semaine du 23 au 30 aout dans la location d'Olivier qui est très arrangeant, et disponible. La maison est très bien équipée dans toutes les pièces. lieu calme et clos pour les enfants. Les lits sont faits et linge de toilette fourni un vrai plus pour les vacances. Je recommande sans hésiter

Lovely time with Olivier

We had a wonderful stay in L'Hopital, Olivier is a five star host and John-John a five star dog:) Everything was very clean, well maintained and very well situated, quiet and close to the magnificient beach. We highly recommend staying there. We stayed with our teenagers and our dog, everybody had a good time.

Schönes Feriendomiziel mit Minuspunkten für Hundebesitzer

Leider war in dem Inserat nicht beschrieben, dass das Haus aus zwei voneinander getrennte Ferienwohnungen besteht und der Besitzer im hinteren Bereich des Grundstücks in einem dritten Haus wohnt. Stellt Probleme dar, wenn man wie wir mit zwei Hunden anreist. Zeitweise waren auf dem Gelände vier Hunde, die sich untereinander nicht vertragen haben, unterwegs. Ferienhaus war aber sehr schön !

De eigentijdse, smaakvolle en neutrale inrichting met leuke details maakte dat we ons er snel thuis voelden. Fijne keuken, ruim voorzien van alle benodigdheden. Comfortabele bedden. Veel buitenruimte. De eigenaar, hij woont op hetzelfde terrein, is uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Un très bon sejour!

Location très agreable et spacieuse, avec l'equipment de la maison au top. On se sent comme chez soi. Olivier est un hote a la fois très cool et soucieux de votre bien-etre. Nous lui remercions pour toute son aide et les bons conseils. Situation pratique, mais au calme. En voiture quelques minutes jusqu'a les plages et tous les endroits pour visiter la region. Rundum wohl gefühlt

Das Ferienhaus von Olivier war für uns perfekt. Er und sein freundlicher Labrador haben uns herzlich empfangen. Olivier ist sofort da wenn man ein Problem hat. Gleichzeitig ist das Haus wunderbar wenn man Ruhe sucht abseits der etwas hektischeren Hot Spots. Das Haus hat eine sehr persönliche Note und ist bestens ausgestattet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. In wenigen Minuten erreicht man die sehr schönen Strände in Montalivet, Le Gurp und Soulac sur Mer. Der angrenzende Wald lädt zum Spaziergang ein. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Superbe sejour
