Property is approached by a 4 mile track over marshland, sets of gates  that need to be open and closed
Children need to be supervised at all times when close to water. Please be aware the stairs to the top two floors of the mill may not be suitable for anyone with restricted mobility
There is a private water supply at Red Mill which has a high iron content so is not suitable for drinking or cooking, therefore a supply of nine litres of bottled water is provided.
Good Housekeeping Deposit: There is a deposit of £150 payable for this property.

Would highly recommend!
We had a great stay at Resmill. It's the perfect location if you want to be remote, enjoy wildlife and beautiful views! The mill itself was really interesting and very cosy on cold days. Thanks again for a great stay!

Windmill break
A short break to celebrate a family big birthday. The four mile drive across the field is ok in daylight but a bit more challenging at night. Accommodation comfortable , you get used to the bottled water but the water from the borehole remains a challenge.

Outstanding holiday
Red Mill is a perfect location for a get away from it all holiday. The mill is fabulous with all the home comforts, lovely and warm when the sun has gone down and it’s time to relax. My dogs loved the long walks and there was so much wildlife to see. Would definitely recommend.

Wildlife heaven
What a beautiful place to stay, so quirky and cosy, we loved every moment. Right in the middle of the nature reserve on the broads, we saw four dear on the first drive up to the windmill! For a relaxing break away from the bustle, this is it. The garden was gorgeous with so many nesting birds and mammals everywhere. The cows in the last field closest to the windmill were hilarious, we have never laughed so much, they surrounded one of our cars and gave it full cow tongue wash!! But they just need someone in front of the car giving them some encouragement to move. Wroxham and horning are roughly 30/40mims away so we rented a boat and spent 6 hours on the river. I cant recommend this place enough for nature lovers and people that just want some tranquil peace and quiet. I would suggest getting your shopping on your way there as the drive across the marsh and fields takes 15/20mins to the windmill (but a great drive) . Will definitely visit again. Also thankyou to Daniel and Vanessa for a great break. Daniel was very polite and helpful when we spoke on the phone. 5*

Long weekend in a Windmill
My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The nearby waterways and wildlife made for a truly wonderful setting. I only wish we could have stayed longer.
