Arch Villa traditional holiday house on Rhodes

The house is an old family property which was built almost 200 years ago. The love of our homeland and especially of this house sparked the idea of renovation in 2018 and we are of great pleasure to offer you such a traditional old house with a long history.

You can step back in time and enjoy the real authentic greek village experience. It is the perfect set up for your family relaxing holidays.
The house occupancy is 7 aduIts. It is 70 m2 (50m the old main house and 20m the recently built kitchen and bathroom).It is an open plan house supported by an arch, with antique furniture and handcrafted wooden structures and stone floor. The exceptional high ceiling of wooden beams gives room for three traditional wooden carved high level sleeping areas where three double beds are raised on platforms with a bathroom below one and a walk-in wardrobe/storage area with hanging rail and open shelving unit under the other. The beds are curtained off for privacy, accessed from the living space accessible using solid wooden steps. There is also a single sofa bed. Baby’s bed available upon request. There is a big bathroom with a bath tub and an extra small one.

In the private courtyard which overlooks the sea you can enjoy your breakfast in the mornings and peaceful sunsets in the evenings by using also the barbecue available!!

Due to its particular construction we suggest that it is not suitable for guests with disabilities.

NEIGHBOURHOOD
It is an active traditional agricultural village with little narrow streets with an authentic pace of life. In the village you will find pharmacy, mini-market, cafeteria, church, petrol station, (5*5) football field, traditional tavernas where you can taste the greek cuisine and a health care centre opposite the house.
There is also a picturesque harbour which makes it the base for many fishermen who offer their fish at the local tavernas.

The ultimate windsurfing holidays in the finest location. There are two kite and windsurfing schools at the beach where these watersports are very popular due to the favourable weather conditions.

The beach is flat-long and isolated with tamarisk trees for some natural shade. In the water there is only sand and the depth remains at 1.2 metres after some metres distance from the coast.
There is also a bus station on the main street within 5 minutes walk and there is a frequent bus connection to Rhodes downtown.
