La Escondida, refugio en el bosque de bambú

La Escondida is an industrial, modern loft-type cabin with a beautiful architectural style surrounded by glass, specially designed to enjoy the landscape. The cabin is ideal for hosting couples. It is located within a bamboo forest overlooking the dam, it has three levels and is fully equipped so that you have an excellent stay.

Accommodation
La Escondida has three levels, on the middle level is the main entrance, the kitchen, the bathroom, the living room and the breakfast bar. On the upper level, you will find the mezzanine-style main room, with its double bed, TV and closet. Finally, the lower level is external, giving access to the patio, and you will find a half bathroom, the fire pit, and the laundry area.

The kitchen is fully equipped: Pans, complete dishes for 4 people (deep plates, large and small plates), cutlery, cork remover, bottle opener, conventional oven , blender, general kitchen utensils.

We are Pet - Friendly:
Although the space does not have internal pets, our neighbors have rescued and adopted canines. They are properly vaccinated and none of them pose a danger to guests. However, all animals tend to defend their territory, we recommend that pets be supervised by their owners. The spaces are fenced and divided but sometimes you will see pets on the way.

Various notes:
The Bonilla village has an aqueduct and drinking water.
The climate is mild, you can wear shorts but you will definitely need a sweater in the evenings, where the temperature is usually cold.

If you want to use the fire pit, I recommend bringing firewood as we only have it available depending on the weather.
We provide basic toiletries and cleaning products.

Rest area
Keep in mind that the house is located in a quiet rural area with a tendency to seek a good rest, so parties are prohibited.

Food products
Regarding food products, we only provide salt. This is due to food handling codes, since products such as sugar, oil or coffee could suffer contamination between guests.

Communication
The cell phone and internet signal is good, however, since it is a rural area, sometimes there are intermittent service.

Additional services
If you are interested in accessing our additional cooking and/or cleaning service, you can do so for a fee of 23 USD per day.

We will also be happy to provide you with information and contact numbers for water sports, boat tours, spas or bicycle rentals.

Guests are welcome to use the entire site and should note the following:

Access to the dam.
La Escondida has a view of the dam and also access. However, we are currently in the design and plans stage for the construction of a road to the dam. So if you want to access it, you should do so with extreme caution, since there is no defined path yet.
