I reserve a superior room with view to the pool or garden, instead of that my view from the window was the back of the outside stage for night show, what it seems like trash and woods on the floor. The service received from the personal was terrible and the room wasn’t properly clean, the floor was full of sand, the cleaning lady opened the door every morning without knocking for the room cleaning, in the room there was no “do not disturb” label for the door, the experience was terrible. The food, the food wasn’t properly prepared or was really nasty. The hotel offer special restaurants, with different specialties which include: mexican, mediterranean and grill. I visit the grill restaurant, and the mediterranean. The grill restaurant was also the snack bar, food was cold and didn’t taste good at all, and the mediterranean, provide a full menu with very derailed ingredients in the plates but, we requested the mini pizza for the entree and we received two pepperoni slide from the snack bar and the ribeye from the grill restaurant improperly cocked. We eat outside the hotel, and also receive comments from the hotel employees that they didn’t eat inside the hotel due to the fact that the food was terrible. My experience was really terrible inside the hotel, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone to visit the hotel at all. Bad service, bad food, no activities or special things to do inside as a all inclusive hotel, and the restaurants provide the same food as the buffet.

Just ok, terrible check in process

Check in was terrible, rustic system. Long lines no AC or fans in lobby. We were in that line for over 45 mints, it was 12 mints to 3 pm and they would not give us the room keys until exactly 3 pm so we had to get right back on line at 3 pm to get our keys, that was another 25 minutes. Never had towels in my room, had to borrow from other room we had. Food was just ok. Drinks were extremly watered down. AC was just cool. Not much to do, very small hotel. Swim up bar never had a bartender. We had to get out of pool to get our drinks. Beach was nice. Only tried tried one restaurant since reservation was another hassle. They told us we could reserve from 7 am until 9 am . We were in line by 7 am, person didn't show up until 745 am. We were able to get one reservation at 9 pm. One regular pool and one kiddie pool. Kayak was free ($10 deposit per kayak that you get back when you return equipment).
No rug and water gets everywhere.

We loved the view from our room to see the palms and the beach every morning. The bartender, Hector and the gent in the towel hut were super friendly. So was the lady who cleaned our room. The resort is constantly maintaining the cleanliness which is nice. Suggestion is that there be trash bins closer to water. People assume someone will pick up after them. Also, you might want to offer dry cereal for the morning. We were willing to try new things, but our bellies couldn't handle all the changes.

Although remodeled it's still the same. Average food, rooms have more ants than ever. I booked a single standard and was given a room with two beds and they couldn't supposedly find me a room that I asked for. Majority of the staff did not show any interest in comforting guests.
