The club also has 2 tennis courts, a club house with a lovely restaurant and local drug store chain “Farmacia Carol” on site, that also has small market within itself where you can find anything you might need during your stay.

Very Disappointing Experience – Poor Communication and Unacceptable Situation

Our stay in the Dominican Republic was severely impacted by the lack of communication and preparation from this host. We arrived with my family (including 6 children) at 9:00 AM, only to be told check-in wouldn’t be until 3:00 PM, which was fine at first. However, by 2:00 PM, after waiting for hours, I still hadn’t received any check-in instructions. When I reached out to the host, I was informed at 5:00 PM that the property had suffered a leak that morning, and they would be refunding our booking.This was extremely frustrating as there was no prior notice about the issue. The leak occurred hours before I was contacted, yet I wasn’t informed until I reached out myself. To make matters worse, no alternative accommodations were offered, and there was no apology or attempt to rectify the situation.Having to wait for hours without knowing where we would stay—especially with young children in tow—was an unacceptable experience. It’s disappointing that a host could be so negligent with communication and not take responsibility for such a major issue until the very last minute. I hope future guests are treated with more respect and consideration.
