Stylish, Private, Sunny Spot close to Everything - Excellent Location!
You will love Hank's Hideaway! New owners capture a youthful charm with new furniture and decor. Open the front door and you'll feel at home. The galley kitchen opens to the dining and living room so no one is left out of the conversation. Take meals outside to one of two large decks and sit among the trees with the BBQ and hot tub. Follow the deck around the house and relax poolside - or hop in!
This quiet, residential neighborhood is just above downtown Guerneville and makes for easy walking to restaurants, shops, Johnson's Beach (though you may want a cab for the ride back up the hill) and short drives to wineries and all of Sonoma Counties offerings. Some of the charms of living on a hill, surrounded by mature trees are the sense of privacy and looking straight up to the stars at night. At Hank's Hideaway, you have both. In case you're looking for it, Hank's was previously known as Montsegur.

Everything was exactly as described. Loved the place. A few things to improve on. I had to leave some of the trash in the house as the outdoor trash can is tiny and was already full. The fridge is missing several shelves on the door so getting things to fit was a major challenge. We also noticed the toaster oven was inoperable.
Being surrounded by trees was by far the best thing about this place. Huge deck to play games on, sit by the pool (the pool was pretty chilly the whole time, but felt nice when it was so hot out). We had such a great time.
Comfortable and cozy. We were told in the guidebook not to use the wood burning stove as it was under construction. It was indeed ready for use after a brief call to management. There was no instructions for how to use it. We decided against it. The electronic Gate lock for entry wasnât always working. The refrigerator is newish but beat up inside. Broken drawers and missing shelves.Otherwise, itâs a nice. Little place to stay.
