Vinewood Lodge is perfectly located in one of the Russian River's most coveted neighborhoods. With a rustic cabin-feel exterior paired with a charmingly updated interior, your family and friends will be glad you booked Vinewood Lodge! The private, tiered backyard is ideal for gathering at the hot tub, outdoor dining area, gas BBQ, or the several seating areas while the welcoming front porch is a perfect spot to enjoy views of the vineyard and redwood-covered hills.

Five bedrooms and three full bathrooms are spread between the three levels of the home and offer opportunities to come together or have some space. The ground floor includes a bedroom, full bathroom, laundry, and garage conversion to a game room with foosball table. The middle level is open concept: the living room, kitchen, and dining room flow to both the front and back decks along with a bedroom and full bathroom. Upstairs, there are three sun-drenched bedrooms and a full bathroom. The striking architecture and pitched roof create dramatic angles in the upstairs bedrooms while the front bedrooms face panoramic vineyard views.

Nearby Drake’s Beach is a local favorite for summer days and downtown Guerneville is just a quick drive for groceries and more. You’ll love your private retreat at Vinewood Lodge!


Know Before You Book:

Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours: The maximum occupancy at Vinewood Lodge is 10 people. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm until 7:00 am. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at all times.

Parking: There is parking for 3 cars off street and 1 to 2 on the opposite side of the street. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.

Bed Sizes: Downstairs bedroom: King, middle level bedroom: Queen, upstairs first bedroom: Queen, upstairs second bedroom: Queen, upstairs third bedroom: 2 twins.

Heat Source: Central heat plus built-in electric wall heaters.

Rec/Game Room: The game room is an unheated, uninsulated space. Temperature varies throughout the year.

Location: Vinewood Lodge is in a mixed residential and agricultural neighborhood.

Stairs: The main entrance is on the ground level and there are interior stairs to the 2nd and 3rd floors of the house. Outside, there are stairs from the parking area to the front porch and from the dining deck to the upper back deck with the hot tub and BBQ.

Fencing: The back yard of this property is fully fenced. The front porch is also gated.

Proximity to wineries: While there is a vineyard directly across the street, the closest tasting room is in downtown Guerneville approx. 2 miles.

Nearest River Beach: Drake’s Beach is less than 0.4 mi from the house and is a neighborhood beach without parking.

Nearest Ocean Beach: The beaches in Jenner are approx. 15 miles from the house.

Spacious enough for 10 persons. The layout provided a great common space. The yard, deck and hot tub area was clean and convenient. A fun place to connect with family and friends, cooking, playing games in the large kitchen/dining area. Close to town, hiking, shopping, wine tasting and pubs.

Such a great house

Loved our stay at the house. We had 3 couples and lots of room. The open living area was great. The view of the vineyard was amazing. We were there mostly for wine tastings and the wineries were about 20-25 mins in each direction. Worked out well.

Nice stay for several couples

The house is very nice, and everything looks just like it does in the pictures for the most part. Loved the location, the vineyard views and it has an awesome back yard. The one downside is the kitchen, while very nice, wasn’t very well stocked and what was there was in kinda bad shape. But other than that it was a good place to stay!

Amazing weekend getaway

The house provided a wonderful stay for me and my friends for a hygge weekend away from the city. We loved the views, the comfy areas to convene and the cozy beds. Everyone had a nice time and it was the perfect setting.

Amazing Property - Exceeded Expectations

Beautifully decorated home - inside and out. Impeccably appointed with no detail spared. Kitchen was large and fully stocked with pots & pans, utensils, dinnerware, and other small appliances, like toasters. All appliances in the kitchen were well-maintained and upgraded. Plenty of towels for all three bathrooms and there were even special towels for hot tub use. There was a large laundry room on the first level which was great for our family vacation with eight adults. Directions on how to operate the thermostat, the hot tub, the grill, as well as thorough directions on how to handle trash, pack in and pack out were all conveniently located in a large binder. The mattresses and linens were extremely comfortable. Our one and only suggestion would be to place some type of a curtain or blind on the front living room windows for evening use. By the way, the view out of those front windows is breathtaking! We will definitely come back!

Great relaxing stay

The house is exactly as pictured. It was very clean, the kitchen was stocked with cooking supplies, and we had no problems with check in. There are several different areas to dine inside and outside. The yard is completely fenced in for guests with dogs. Note that this is a three story house where the kitchen, dining area, living room, and yard access are on the second floor.

Perfect for Large Family Vacation

The arrangement of rooms allows everyone to have privacy while shared spaces support large family meals and cooking events. Interior spaces open beautifully to outdoor spaces and views. Entire property is very clean and includes a generous variety of housewares and supplies. Short walk to neighborhood beach where we were frequently the only users. Very friendly neighbors. Communication with the property manager was great and the information supplied was very organized and helpful. Recommend adding a caution about splinters on decks where toddlers can easily pick up splinters in their feet.
