Lovely cosy house in quite fishing village, the perfect place to relax and just in the middle of the north and the south of the island. Just few steps to the beach. Very close to public transport, excellent highway connections and easy access for parking.
You’ll love your stay because its ambiance, light, people, and neighborhood.
Our place is perfect for couples and small families. KIDS UNDER 6 YEARS OLD WILL NOT COUNT AS AN EXTRA PAX FOR PAYMENT.

It is not a luxurious accommodation but we have made it as cosy and comfortable as to make you feel like your HOME AWAY FROM HOME :)

If you wish to explore the island we recommend that you rent a car, there are not big supermarkets or shopping areas here as is a very small town, but 1min walking there is family shop to buy basics as bread, milk, vegetables, refreshments and many others certain hours of the day... 10 minutes driving you will arrive at Güímar where you have several big supermarkets and some interesting places to explore like the Pyramids of Güímar or the way to visit the TEIDE mountain!

We will be very happy to suggest places to visit and to enjoy good local food...

The view from the balcony is what it is all about, absolutely wonderful. It was peaceful listening to the waves (although I did need ear plugs at night.) The tiny beach and steps area was busy at the weekend and over the Easter break but it was a nice sound to hear children playing and having fun, not at all disturbing us. The apartment was small but because it is open plan it seemed spacious. The kitchen is small but ok for one person at a time which worked well for me lol. The gas cooker was good and having a microwave really helped. They had a posh coffee machine which took pods not the filter coffee machine that was shown. The living space had a new sofa, different from the one in the photos, bigger with a couple of big cushions.A nice dinner table.The bedrooms were good, the single bedroom was adequate with a cupboard with extra bedding etc, a small chest of drawers and some hanging space. The double bedroom had hanging and a chest of drawers.All in all we had a fantastic stay and Monica and veronica were great hosts and always responded quickly, we had a couple of little issues that were resolved with no problems which gave us confidence to ask for help if needed.We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxation

Very quiet except for the sound of relaxing waves. Great out of the way getaway with easy walking areas, rocks with tidal pool's. Lots of privacy but a close drive for groceries and eateries. I loved the deck off the bedroom, looking and listening to the ocean while reading

Quiet base from which to explore

Very clean and tidy little house, well equipped, pleasant balcony with views into cove below. Very easily accessible from the TF1 motorway - we didn't experience and disturbance from that main road. Car is pretty much essential, the village is very quiet and entirely residential. Parking may not always be available right outside the property, but there were plenty of places nearby within a couple of minutes' walk. Our main host Veronica was very helpful and attentive, eager to make sure that the stay is enjoyable.

Great Stay in Prime Location

We picked the apartment for a two month winter stay based on location, price, and photos and were not in the least disappointed. El Tablado is not for those who want a bustling place but is great if you want a relaxing location and proximity to the sea and its views. Several comments have been made about the road noise but it never bothered us being masked by the waves most nights. Veronica met us on or arrival day with some snacks and a bottle of wine and gave us a good overview of the area ... Google Translate worked well. Within days we had met some of the neighbors who were very friendly. There is now a small shop in the village that opens most days and has a good selection of the day to day things you will need. Guimar (the industrial area exit) has two excellent supermarkets, Hiperdino and Mercadona, to the east and Lidl to the west. Guimar town has a good farmers market on Sunday with very inexpensive local fruit and vegetables. Candelaria, a little further north also has an excellent market on Wednesday. Guimar (El Puertito) is a small waterfront town with lots of restaurants and bars and a small supermarket. They have several protected swimming areas and good black sand beaches. Take the hike through the Malpais area to see the results of volcanic action in the area. The walk along the seafront to the Club Nautico is also very popular. We spent quite a bit of time here. While El Tablado itself has a small beach in front of the apartment, the bottom is very rocky but many people swim there from the jetty. El tablado is an ideal location to explore both north and south areas of the island and the west coast is only an hour drive away. Highly recommend a visit to La Laguna and Santa Cruz. The hiking in Tenerife is some of the best in the world and varies from high desert in the central south to dense forest in the north. One could spend years exploring. Our favorite area was around Las Vegas. Be prepared for narrow twisty roads. The apartment suited our needs perfectly in terms of space and facilities and Veronica and Monica were in regular communication with us to make sure everything was OK. The best review we can give is that we booked another two month stay for 2023.

A very pleasant place to visit

I have to say a very big thanks to Veronica who made our first trip to Tenerife a very enjoyable and memorable experience. We were made most welcome on our arrival and throughout our two weeks stay. The home was cosy and as close to the sea as you could want. Nothing was to much trouble for the property owners. Would I recommend a stay at Monica and Veronica’s seaside pad? Yes I would it’s well worth the trip. Gracias

Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, die uns ausführlich die Unterkunft gezeigt und alles erklärt hat. Der Blick vom Schlafzimmer auf den kleinen Hafen ist wunderschön. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig, aber völlig ausreichend. Der Ort selbst ist sehr klein und es gibt keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Man benötigt aber ohnehin einen Mietwagen, um den Ort zu erreichen. Es gibt ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten im Dorf. Die sehr nahe Autobahn hört man kaum, stattdessen gibt es Meeresrauschen. Insgesamt war es ein sehr gelungener Urlaub. Wir kommen sicher wieder und bleiben dann länger.

Sehr nette Gastgeberin. Uns wurde alles gezeigt und die Verständigung hat auch geklappt.Die Einrichtung war zweckmäßig und sauber. Zwischenzeitlich wurde auch nachgefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist. Wer Ruhe sucht ist dort richtig. Auch die einheimische Nachbarschaft war super freundlich.

In dem Ort ist kein Restaurant. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ca. 10 Km entfernt. Alles soweit sauber außer die Matratzen, wir sollten zum Schluss die Bettwäsche abziehen.

Second Long Visit

This was our second long stay of nine weeks at the apartment and we have enjoyed both very much. It is an ideal location for a couple or a couple with a child who are looking for a quiet location but with good access to the conveniences of a couple of nearby towns. The village has a small shop for everyday needs and El Puertito, two exits north has a supermarket, fine beaches, good restaurants and protected swimming. One exit further north there are numerous supermarkets, Mercadona, Hiperdino, Lidl, and a new Aldi. Although close to the highway, the traffic noise did not bother us. The apartment is well equipped and our host, Veronica, made sure we were welcomed and kept in touch with us during our stays. If you are into hiking, diving, and just listening to the waves roll in this is an ideal location.

Wunderbar

Wir durften 4 Monate in der kleinen aber feinen Wohnung bei Veronica wohnen. Die Ausstattung ist gut, mit dem Gasherd muss man sich erst anfreunden, aber dann ist das kein Problem. Der Blick vom Balkon, die Dachterrasse und die nahe gelegene Badestelle machten unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr schön! Das Dorf selbst ist sehr ruhig, wenn nicht gerade Straßenfeste gefeiert werden, die dann Leben in das verschlafene Dorf bringen. Wellenrauschen wechselt sich hier zwar mit Autobahngeräuschen ab, aber das tut keinen Abbruch! Die Lage in El Tablado ist perfekt um sowohl den Süden als auch den Norden der Insel zu erkunden. Ein Auto zu mieten bietet sich an. Veronica war eine sehr liebenswerte und sich kümmernde Vermieterin! Wir haben unsere Zeit hier sehr genossen!

Ce petit logement à El Tablado est parfait, et conforme aux photos et descriptions.

Très très bon contact avec la propriétaire, fort sympa. Si vous aimez l'ambiance des petits villages, n'hésitez pas ! Mais attention, il n'y a pas de bar etc, juste une petite épicerie qui propose même des petits en-cas préparés... Le logement est conforme aux photos. Refait à neuf, propre, et déco sympa. Terrasse direct sur la mer. Seul petit bémol, une belle chambre, et une toute petite, donc, plutôt pour 1 couple et 1 enfant. En tout cas, j'y retournerais bien volontiers. Merci beaucoup à Monica. Location de véhicule fortement recommandée, bien que le réseau transport en commun fonctionne bien.

Sehr gemütlich

Die Wohnung ist super sauber und sehr gemütlich. Der Blick vom Schlafzimmer alleine ist den Aufenthalt wert. Im Dörfchen gibt es einen kleinen Laden mit dem notwendigsten. Der nächste große Supermarkt direkt im Industriegebiet in Güimar. It is a very clean and cosy apartment. The view from the sleeping room is great. In the same village is a little market where you can the most necessary things. Die Gastgeber sind sehr bemüht, es ist fast unmöglich Veronica nicht zu knuddeln. The host are very friendly and helpful Todo bien Muchas gracias

sehr herzlicher Empfang ,saubere Wohnung ohne zuviel Luxus, weit weg vom Massentourismus. mann braucht unbediengt ein Leihauto,hat aber auch schnelle Anbindung an die Autobahn.große Einkaufszenter sind in ca 10 Min. zuerreichen.ein Laden für den täglichen Bedarf ist im Ort Für Individualtouristen die nicht nur Baden wollen sehr zu empfehlen

Tu casa es mi casa

Appartement idéale pour notre séjour à Tenerife. Rien ne manque si ce n'est une machine à laver pour un long séjour mais ça n'a pas posé de problème pour nous. Accès direct à la mer, balcon avec vue imprenable, gentilesse des locaux. Nous sommes tombés sous le charme d'El Tablado. Merci à Véronica pour son accueil, nous nous sommes senti comme à la maison et avons eu du mal à partir !
