Great location for seeing the beautiful sights of the Arcachon Bassin area. The Dune du Pilat just south of Arcachon is the tallest in Europe.Bordeaux is easily accessible by train with the nearest station (Gujan-Mestras) providing a good regular service. The local coastline has small ports, and sea marshes that provide a habitat for many species of birds.

Wonderful quiet house next to beautiful park

We really enjoyed our stay here. Mr. Laurent was very kind and helpful. The garden in front of the house is perfect to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or BBQ. The railway in front of the house is not a problem: it only operates 7 to 22, only 4 trains per hour, and those are very quiet. Thank you very much for the great vacation and your patience with our 'French' knowledge, Mr. Laurent
