L'Ostra comprises a living room with open-plan kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. The restaurants and tasting huts are a 5-minute walk away, and all summertime entertainment in Gujan is available at the Port de Larros, just 5 minutes from the house. The train station, also just 5 minutes away, provides direct access without a car to Arcachon and its beaches (trains every 30 minutes) and Bordeaux (trains every 30 minutes), and allows travelers to arrive from Paris in 3 hours.
The Port de la Hume (a 15-minute bike ride away) offers summer shuttles to Cap Ferret. You can board with your bikes.

The little train opposite the Arcachon tourist office will give you plenty of ideas for things to discover and a great overview of the town! At lunchtime, let yourself be tempted by an oyster tasting in one of the Bassin's oyster ports - the port of Gujan is waiting for you - or at the market in La Teste or Arcachon (bring a container if you'd like to have them opened, and don't go too late for this request), then set off to conquer the majestic Dune du Pilat! If you feel like taking to the open sea, there are regular boat shuttles from the Thiers jetty in Arcachon to Cap Ferret (it's best to book online), Ile aux oiseaux and the famous cabanes tchanquées! The arguin bank, transparent water, paradise on earth! Descent of the Leyre River, at the Le Teich ornithological park, choose to be accompanied by a guide or alone with your kayak!
