The owner was responsive to our calls & the property is well supplied with essentials needed in the kitchen. The 2 refrigerators & ice machine made it very nice for large groups. Although the property has 2 dishwashers, one of the dishwashers was not working, along with the garbage disposal due to electrical issues. The home is new & there are a few electrical issues which need to be resolved. The property manager did get someone out to try to resolve the issue but he could not resolve the issue & they needed to get an electrician out to resolve the issue. However, we were visiting during the week of Thanksgiving they could not get anyone onsite.
We were so excited for this stay and chose this home specifically because it was advertised as having a heated pool, a big deal for our family and the main reason we booked it. We would have scrolled past this home if it didnât have that option. Unfortunately, a few days after arrival and several back-and-forth messages, we learned there was no gas line connected to the pool heater, meaning it was never actually capable of being heated. The company tried to say the heater âjust failed before our stay,â but both an employee and the pool vendor told us early on that it had never been hooked up. Thatâs not a last-minute issue, thatâs false advertising. To make things worse, the spa didnât work for the first three days due to a tripped GFI switch an issue they admitted has happened before. The breaker box was locked, so we couldnât reset it ourselves, and it took three days to get someone out to fix it.They refunded part of our trip for the âinconvenience,â but this wasnât just an inconvenience, it was an amenity that never existed. Companies need to remember there are families/emotions behind these bookings, families who work hard to give their kids experiences theyâll remember for a lifetime. We understand that things break; thatâs life. But honesty, empathy, and doing the right thing are what truly matter. The home and area were beautiful; the owners did a great job designing but the disappointment was real and could have easily been avoided with transparency.I
