Family friendly, two-story townhome on West Beach. Gulfside Townhomes is only a half mile away from the center of town and directly on the beach! Prime location within walking distance to restaurants & local attractions. Low density complex with a total of 40 units.

Gulfside Townhome 13 is 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom and accommodates 6 comfortably. Two additional people are permitted.

Both bathrooms upstairs have stunning new tiled showers!

Private covered parking for up to 2 cars directly under the unit ($22/veh). This vacation rental has two private balconies that offer views that overlook the courtyard, sugar white sand, emerald gulf water and pool areas. No grill on-site.

Check-in/out was nice & easy. The amount of space in the condo was great. It was clean. The kitchen was lacking a little. The utensils were very random which made it difficult when we cooked. Then when we ate we had to share knives to each be able to cut our chicken at the table. I know a lot of people eat out every night when they are on vacation but my husband has celiac disease and it is not so easy to find restaurants every night to eat at that offer gluten free options. We have to cook a few nights on every vacation so a kitchen that is set up properly makes that much easier on us.

This was a great spot to vacation at. We were close to the Shrimp Festival and hope to go back. The rooms were roomy and clean.

Almost Perfect

We absolutely loved our stay. The location to everything was great, the beach was great, the unit was well renovated. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that some of the doors wouldn’t properly close. Both of those doors were on bathrooms so it gave very little privacy for the person using restroom. Everything else was awesome.

Fun family getaway!

Fun family getaway! Definitely recommend for any families or couples that are wanting a nice, chill, relaxing beach getaway. Many restaurants and stores so choose from. Nice and private access to personal condo. Very convenient location.

Location was definitely great, I do feel the price was kinda high now due to how dated this Location looked. The carpet was kinda nasty, tub in master didn't drain. And the beds are horrible.

Overall good experience.

Overall it was a nice location and experience, the sliding door in the living room to the deck sticks and doesn't slide well and the dryer wouldn't work only buzz when we tried to use it. But we enjoyed the beach, the pool, and the location. Beds could definitely be more comfy

FIRST, NEVER GOT A KEY 2ND MOLD ON CEILING IN KITCHEN, AND LIVING ROOM, WITH ACTIVE LEAK (SHOULD HAVE SEEN THIS IN THE COMMENTS FROM SOMEONE IN NOV) *SLIDER DOOR TO OPEN IS LIKE A FIGHT ON THE MAIN FLOOR *AC DOESNT COOL BELOW 75 *AGAIN MOLD IN KITCHEN, LIVING ROOM, AND TWO BEDROOMS *I CAN LOOK OVER THE DIRT BUT COULD NOT GET OVER THE MOLD, WE HAD PLANNED ON STAYING TILL SATURDAY, AND ARRIVED SUNDAY BUT BY TUESDAY MORNING WE ALL STARTED HAVING MOLD ALLERGY ISSUES AND BY THURSDAY WE LEFT, MY DAUGHTER AND SON IN LAW HAD TO STAY DUE TO FLIGHT, AND THEY ARE CURRENTLY SICK ALSO FOR WHAT I HAD TO FREAKING PAY, I WAS SCAMMED IF YOU STAY HERE YOU ARE BEING LIED TO. 30 stairs to the bed rooms. Century old dust (exaggeration)

POOR, I made the most.of my 60 stay. Filthy not nasty. DIRT STAINS AND DUST everywhere. Leaking ceiling when it rains not just from the hole in master bath floor. Worse than the filth I texted upon checking in with my disappointment. Also called however they only responded viA text. Informed them of a list of broken stained and dirty items. Closets full of mess and junk. Paint cans and repair equipment under kitchen sink and most closets. An hour later a grandmother and her granddaughter knocked at my door unannounced. They apologized and said they could not get paid until I was happy with condo. I explained to them that I would let the condo people know that they're cleaning was ok unit needed a deep cleaning and I mainly called about repairs. The condo people said they would have somebody organize the closet. That never happened. They said that they have people not park behind me it was very hard to get out. That never happened. This condo has a great TV looks like 80 inch clear picture it has a super quiet dishwasher. The location is awesome. I learned right away that they were not going to do anything to try to make me happy and I just toughed it out for the two months I was there and had a nice time. The beach is wonderful Bahama Bob's in walking distance is great try the tuna.

Plumbing issues

This unit has existing plumbing issues. When the showers are on upstairs, it leaks in the downstairs dining area. This is a known issue as there are signs stating the shower liner must stay in the shower and if water gets downstairs it’s the guests responsibility and will be charged. When showers were taken, liner was in the tub and there was no water outside the bathtub and there was still water downstairs. We quickly called the property management who said they would have to call maintenance. No one ever showed up to check on the issue for the rest of our stay. Also there were alcohol bottle lids all over the living room floor and candy found in the couches. Clearly the unit wasn’t cleaned well before check in.

Location was amazing.

Location was great the condo we stayed in was filthy dirty, had to go to Walmart to buy cleaning supplies and spent our first night cleaning as much as we could. Kitchen needs updated and so does the furniture.

Where to start?

I was thinking i would maybe stay again in this unit in the future since the issue we had were not deal breakers. But not after our last night. It does have good things. the living area is nice, nice tv and decor. Rooms are good size. Enough pots and pans and utensils to cook. Coffee maker and even a Keurig. Nice size fridge for the space. And the location and convenience is great. Being able to to leave all your beach stuff in your private parking space without having to drag it up to the unit is awsome. Beach is super close. Pool is nice although it was really cold. It's a bit noisy being in front of the pool and close to the street. Now when we arrived there were some issues with the cleaning. The floor was very dirty. The management did indicate they would've sent someone over to correct that but it was late and our stuff was all over. So i just cleaned. And towels left in the washer. The kitchen can use a serious update. The counter space is very limited and cabinets very old. Like another review said there are just a few eating utensils and cups. The tubs are really slippery so in order for the kids to have baths we had to buy a mat so they wouldn't slip. All of this was not mayor, but on Wednesday it rained and i saw a pretty big leak in the main bath. I sent an email to let the administrator know and asked if someone would come to take a look. I didn't get a response. Well friday we had a severe storm and the water just started pouring from everywhere in the second floor and in the dining area too. We had to get out of the main bedroom in the middle of the night because it was literally raining inside. I don't think the damage from Sally was fixed correctly. You can tell the leak in the main bath had been there for a while because the vanity has water damage. We talked to some of the other unit owners. They did mention they all had damage from sally and some units are not ready yet for renting. I don't think this unit was ready for renting either. There is a lot to fix and now they reaaaaaally have a huge mess upstairs. We really liked the location the complex and the beach was nice and was actually reasonably busy despite of being spring break. So we would definitely come back to the Townhomes but not this unit. I normally don't do negative reviews but if we would've had the storm at the beginning or middle of our week it would have completely ruined our vacation. They should've really fixed the roof before renting the unit

It would had been wonderful but hurricane sally ruined it only got to stay a day and a half it took us 9 hrs to get there so wasn’t relaxing

Great location

The only thing that could be improved is the lack of kitchen utensils and the amount of cups available. Something simple but I only found 2 butter knives and we made sandwiches for lunch and I found myself washing dishes more than I wanted because of this.

Great place bad Communication

It was a great stay for me and my family but when it came to pick up they needed to put the information separate from other customers! Cause after driving for 8 hrs and plus working the night before I was to tired to even realize I was grabbing someone else’s reservation key and info along with mine. And I’ve came to gulf shores for a few years now and never had an issue with check in in before CAUSE OUR STUFF WAS SEPARATE from others!!! So I doubt I’ll be coming back to this place next year for my honeymoon I much rather check in somewhere else
