Beach Axis' deck is as close to the gulf as you can get in the area. Folks LOVE LOVE LOVE its gulf front decks! Most nearby units have their pool behind the homes, putting the pool between you and the beach. Not Beach Axis. Beach Axis' pool is streetside. Sit on the deck, enjoy the sunset, while most neighbors are behind you! How nice is that! The pool is private to the two sides of the duplex—not shared with any other home.

Plus this is one of my guests' favorite places. Lots of repeat visitors each year! Great price for a recently completed redone beachfront duplex. RIGHT ON THE BEACH. Beach Axis is completely furnished and professionally decorated. It has a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher and microwave.

The Beach Axis duplex house is located directly on the beach of the Gulf. Either side of Beach Axis can be leased separately as a 5BR/5BA that sleeps 18, or take both sides for a full 10BR 10BA sleeping up to 36!

One side perfect for your group, then book our Beach Axis East and Beach Axis West listings for the individual units. Take one or both, you'll have a great stay either way!

Since we have a higher proportion of guests recently who are new to vacation homes, I wanted to mention a few things that may be new to guests who normally stay in hotels or resorts rather than a private home so they are not surprised. As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, except where specifically noted, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.

Wonderful Experience at Beach Axis East

My family vacationed in Gulf Shores at Beach Axis East. The home was even better than the pictures. It was just a short stroll to the beach, pool, and restaurants across the street. We would definitely stay there again.

Our Beach Bash Reunion

Your house was everything we wanted and needed for our reunion! All bedrooms were great. Each had its own bathroom. Living areas and balconies were perfect. We had 9 adults and it was perfect. We were there during an excessive heat warning in August so it was very hot but otherwise we enjoyed our trip immensely. And loved having a pool to cool off in! Would come back again.

Incredible home for several families

We loved this house so much for our beach stay over July 4th! The location can’t be beat (two miles from the gulf shores T). The house is right on the beach, and we easily walked out and set up our tent and chairs every day. The house is located on a slice of the best beaches you can get anywhere (imho). But what we loved the most about the house is that it had so many king beds, and each room has their own bathroom(!). It was amazing. There’s also a cute basic market, ice cream shop, and restaurant literally right across the road. We basically didn’t leave this magical house during the week. We’ll be back!

Amazing place!

5 stars all around!! This is the second year we've stayed at one of these properties and are once again extremely impressed. The property was beautiful and the location was perfect! We had two small issues and Rick and his team are super responsive and nothing but helpful. We are hoping to return next year!

Perfect Location and a Great Property

The good the bad and the ugly. There was no ugly. There was no bad. The cold snap was unanticipated but even with the very cold weather we all stayed warm, toasty and had no issues. My kids will tell you I was born with a bottle of windex in hand and I found the property to be very clean when we arrived. We found the property exceptionally well equipped. There were more than adequate towels. Everyone found the beds comfortable. This was a family trip allowing me the pleasure of cooking for my family and my grandchildren. There was more than an adequate supply of dishes, silverware, pots and pans including large pots. Two bedrooms on each floor with a deck on each floor was more than enough room for all to be comfortable. We found the third floor deck gets the least amount of wind. The sunrise and sunset views are amazing as the property is situated directly behind the dunes close to the beach. There is a sandbar in the water which causes the waves to break away from the shore allowing the children to play by the shore without having to contend with waves. The birds and dolphins like to hang out by the sandbar. Upon arriving and settling in we found a few little things which needed attention, passed them on and received a thank you response. We had no issues and recommend this property without hesitation.

Would 100% stay again.

Our experience at Beach Axis east was great. The house was clean & as described in the listing. In fact, the house feels larger than the listing photos show. The furniture was comfortable & the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook a few family meals. The only thing I will mention that could’ve been better was the smart tvs didn’t have the usual streaming apps installed so a roku or similar device would’ve been nice. Overall, 5 stars from us!!!

Great property. Clean, plenty of room and no crowds on beach like it can be near condos. Pool very nice and not fighting for chairs as it is for you and the other part of the duplex. Great check in and no issues during the stay.

Not a lot of bang for your buck!

The property is very misleading online pics make it seem like pool is behind house and just for one duplex. Pool is facing the road. Every cabinet sticks or doesn’t line up at all. Most furniture in house is horrible, broken drawers etc. we had to share a grill with the other duplex. Most beach houses provide some type of beach toys, umbrellas or chairs there is none at this house. Overall I would not recommend this you can get much nicer homes for the price.! We have been coming to gulf shores for 25 years and this is by far the worst home.

You won’t find a better location!!

This home was just perfect. It was closer to the beach than any other house, the beach wasn’t crowded and the house was so roomy. The beds were comfortable, the views were spectacular. We never even heard the people in the other side of the home. You can walk to the Island ice cream, waves grocery, and the seafood market because they are just across the street. That was very convenient. This home is just a mile from the hangout. So you can actually walk just about anywhere. I would definitely recommend this house and I will be staying here again.

Great location!

You can’t beat the location, restaurant right across the street along with a liquor store and small convenience store. Great house, right on the beach, had plenty of room, the pool was very nice. We did have a small issue but reached out to the owner and he had it rectified within hours, great communication. We had an awesome week!!
