Herron landing unit 12 - newly remodeled all new

An open floor plan condo on the quiet side of Gulf Shores. Perfect for anyone looking for beach access, fishing, boating, shelling, but still just 3 miles from the Hangout and 59 corridor. Snowbirds welcome. Herron Landing has views of both the Lagoon and the Gulf. Free private parking with BBQ and sitting area both on the ground level and both decks. This condo has two bedrooms with a king in the master and a queen in the quest. Both bedrooms have a private bathroom and deck access to the top deck. A sleeper sofa is on the common area and a powder room. The first floor has a full
Size washer/ Dryer - fully equipped kitchen - Private Balcony - BBQ grill - outdoor pool - fishing / boating pier - deeded Gulf access - outdoor sofa / love seat and high top table that will accommodate all occupants. - No pets or smoking on the deck or in the condo.

Recently remodeled/updated unit 12 sleeps 6. The main living area has new tile, updated white kitchen cabinets stone counter tops and stainless steel appliances. New shell chandelier completes this beach feeling unit! The unit is fully equipped with a full size washer and dryer, coffee maker, toaster, blender, margarita maker, dishes, pot and pans, crockpot, bar ware and lots of storage space.

The main area has a queen sleeper sofa a large screen smart TV, YoutubeTV is included, a Wii and 4 remotes and many games and puzzles - perfect for a rainy day. The main deck has sun shades built in, a sofa, loveseat, high table and four chairs. Perfect for morning coffee, late night conversations or watching the beautiful sunsets.

Two Bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms are located upstairs. The master has a new king size mattress, walk in shower, luxury towels and sliding patio doors that lead to a second deck and seating for two. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed, amazing views of the Lagoon, private bathroom with a surround tub and shower with sliding doors that open to the top deck, a table, swivel chairs that overlook the pool and face the lagoon. Both bedrooms have large screen TV’s with YouTube TV and hi-speed Wi-Fi. There are extra electrical outlets available bedside to charge up for the next day.

The outside are has beach supplies that include an outside shower, beach chairs, beach blanket, shovels, buckets, and lots of beach toys. Beach towels are available for your use. No need to pack extra.

The gulf is accessible via a deeded boardwalk located just across beach Blvd. You also have access to a private boat doc. Fishing, boating, kayaking, watching the sunset or just taking in the pelicans and Herrons. Just after sunset be sure to watch for the stingrays.

We hope that you enjoy our little piece of paradise as much as we have - relax and have a great stay.

Check out is 11:00. Check-in is at 3:00. There is no smoking in the unit or on the decks and no pets.

The property was very nice and accommodating. Check-in and out was easy. Kitchen was well stocked. We really enjoyed the decks and the convenience of the pool. The only reason for the 4 star review is because the property is advertised as no pets, but there had clearly been dogs on the property. Most likely the owners. To each their own, but if a property is advertised as no pets I would assume it was a pet free location, owner included.

A cut above!

The grounds and condo were neat and well cared for and spoke instant relaxation. People were friendly and helpful. Being foodies we especially were impressed with all the quality cook ware and all the appliances. The furniture and decore are upscale and added to the enjoyment we exprerienced together. The value and enjoyment at this unit definately exceeded our expectations. We look forward to booking this unit again.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at this unit. It had all the comforts of home. It was comfortable and close to the beach and the pool. We cooked most of our meals and had everything we could need. There are beautiful views from inside and outside. Lots of outside seating and a nice grill. We loved our stay! The owners were very quick to respond and offered several recommendations. We enjoyed eating at DeSotos, riding the ferry, and visiting the bird sanctuary. The pool was very warm and not very clean. The only disadvantage is that it is a long time from our home!! Thank you for being wonderful hosts.

All in all a great place

The condo is decorated meticulously to give a real beach feel. They made sure there were enough sheets and towels/washcloths, including beach towels (a nice touch). The hosts were very responsive to messages and we were able to check in a little early upon request, which was much appreciated after a morning on the road. Things to note: this unit is directly next to the pool. I was hoping we wouldn't have to deal with loud people at night, but the real obnoxious neighbors were a couple with a toddler our last morning. They were in the pool before 8 am and it wasn't the child who was noisy; it was the parents. Totally inconsiderate. A couple other minor notes: there were zero extra kitchen trash bags. For a family of 5 staying 3 nights, you really can't manage with no replacement trash bags. We also had to run out to get toilet paper. Most rentals supply ample TP, so we didn't think to check when we first got there. You will need to run the dryer on 2 full cycles to get a load dry (if you fill the washer to capacity and expect to dry everything in one load). Those minor inconveniences aside, the rental is nicely stocked with other little touches. Having the beach access right across the street was so much nicer than public access. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here. The atmosphere really made the experience!

This rental was perfect for a family get away. Check in was a breeze. Located just steps from the lagoon and short walk to the beach. The house was very clean, spacious, and had exactly what we needed for cooking.

Great Condo

I have stayed at Herring Landing before and love the location and the laid back family vibe. This particular unit has been recently updated inside and looks and feels very upscale. We were highly impressed the moment we opened the front door. I will not name the unit number we stayed in last time as it was decent but this unit was on another level. Our family felt like high rollers for the week. We would not hesitate to stay here again next year.

Wonderful Break at Heron Landing

Property manager was very flexible when I had to made changes of reservations due to medical issues. I had stayed a Heron last year in another unit so I was familiar with the area. I returned because of the very quiet location and easy access to both the Gulf and Lagoon. The unit was brand new with beautiful and new appliances, amenities and decorations. Thank you so much. It was the break I needed!
