Location is perfect. The lodge has plenty to offer and do. Unfortunately when we book there was no mention of construction. And in the lobby a sign said construction M-F during certain times. On a Saturday there was still construction. They will charge you on site to park. $15 per day. It’s not covered. Covered parking is for valet only at $50. Parking lot is a nice little walk to the rooms. There is two restaurants on site. Was disappointed in the Food Craft restaurant. The Perch was way nicer, but comes with a price. I would skip food craft altogether and eat somewhere else. Perch is definitely worth the extra dollars if that is in your budget. We have stayed here many times due to the park and location of the Lodge.

Very pleasant stay! All staff, room, amenities were great. The only upsetting point was the construction of the new pool which made a lot of noise and truck exhaust, which was opposite what we wanted for a beach front balcony room.

Room was nice. Wasn't what I paid for, which was a king bed balcony view. We got a queen & bunk beds? But no biggy. The view, would have been breathtaking but instead we had prime overhead view & audio from the active construction site.
Night view was lovely looking away from the construction.
Unfortunately noisy during production hours.

The staff at the front desk was very nice, however , our bathroom had hair in the sinks and bathtub. TheToilet also was not clean, the Queen bed next to the door area.Looked as if someone had been sleeping in it , and it wasn't changed. I'd like a refund, or a cleaner stay.
