There is a one (1) Parking Pass limit at Island Sunrise from mid-May through Labor Day Weekend

This is a non-smoking unit. You must be 25 years of age to rent. Monthly rates available.

During the spring break season, between the dates of March 1 through April 30 of each year, the person booking the reservation must be 25 years of age or older and must be present to physically check in at our office with your government issued ID present.

Hello, My family and I enjoyed the condo. I did have a few things that wasn't working properly and was a inconvenience. Only two burners worked on the stove. When I was doing dishes there was a leak under the sink. I had to mop several times. Also in the beds there were sand how I know it wasn't from us is we didn't go out to the beach until the next day when we arrived. Other than that it was awesome

Not clean and AC went out

Check in was VERY easy. They texted us the code to get in as soon as the room was ready. When we first got there on Saturday, there was sand on the couch and the floors. But it's the beach, so we didn't think a lot about it. We didn't notice till just before we were leaving that the comforter on the underside had what looked like blood or mud stains all over it. With COVID-19, this REALLY made me very concerned about the cleanliness of the condo. Especially because we had our 6 month old great-grandson with us. AND the night before we left, the AC went out sometime around 5-6pm. We turned the AC off while we were gone to see if it just froze up. (to prevent anyone from having to come out) But when we got back around 9 and turned it on, it never got above 78. My son-in-law rigged a cooler and fan so that the baby was okay. We talked to maintenance that night and they came the morning we left. Said the air compressor went out. I addressed all of the above with the manager the day we left and she said she was sorry and would get with housekeeping about their issues, but these things happen and offered no compensation for any of the issues. Said if they had known earlier in the evening the AC wasn't working, they may have been able to fix. This was our first time going through Young's Suncoast and the last. First bad experience I've had with any of the VRBO properties. And we use them a LOT.

Well...

After staying at Island sunrise off and on for years, this was the worst experience we’ve ever had. The room itself was decent, but if I’m having to pay a cleaning fee that everyone else is having to pay too, a lot of people are getting ripped off. The floors were terrible. None of the remote controls for TVs worked. If you turned the one on in the living room it was so loud you couldn’t tolerate it. We ended up buying a universal remote just to turn it down and batteries for the other tv in bedroom, one bedroom didn’t work at all. The day after we checked in some guys came to the room to install windows , which we didn’t allow because the room was empty the day before and I’m not sitting in a room all day for it to get done. Then our boys came for the weekend, we paid for 2 parking passes and security pulled ours to exchange it and said only 1 parking pass period, it was a “dry run” for the big concert , that didn’t even happen and had been cancelled long before we got there. The rental company wasn’t even aware of it. Then he changed his mind and allowed it after talking to HOA association. I never leave a bad review but all of this was just too much when you’ve planned all year. Still had a great time, just won’t be back at this condo.

The manager of the property was very helpful in getting us set up and they showed that they wanted to make sure we had a good time. The property was for the most part what we were told and we were able to have a fun time in a great location on the beach!

Pros: The property is in a great location and we had beautiful views. Beds were comfortable, and we had enough room for 9. It’s nice to have a keypad for the door and not have to worry about a key. Easy access to the beach. Cons: There was hair and excessive amount of sand all over the condo floor, the dishes were dirty with caked on old food, and a couple of the patio chairs were broke. (We swept the condo and washed all the dishes prior to using them) It takes forever for the elevator and there is only one.

Nice quiet place for family

This place had everything a family could need. Walking distance to a lot of great eateries and entertainment. The beach view was beautiful.

Cozy comfortable place for a family getaway.

The property was clean and provided a great place to visit the beach. Right on the water and within walking distance to restaurants and stores. The pool was a great place for the kids to play in. Everyone had a great time!

I am giving it a 2 for view and location

Not sure where to start. The location and the view are amazing. The condo itself needs a lot of TLC. I don't mind an older condo that is maintained well, but this one has been severely neglected. Pros- The beach view is absolutely amazing! Everything is within walking distance. The kitchen is great. It's stocked well and looks like it has been remodeled recently. Cons- The condo was very dirty when we arrived. We washed the bedspread in the guest bedroom. It had so much sand on it and it smelled bad. The entire condo felt grainy on the floor. I realize its the beach and there is sand, but it was like no one had ever vacuumed or swept for weeks. The mini blinds don't work and are very dirty and old. I would toss them and replace the windows with room darkening curtains. When the sun comes up at 530 am-600am it is extremely bright. It would have been nice to sleep later since it was a vacation. The master bedroom-the bed is nice. No storage in the closet. The owner has their stuff in the closet so there is only space to hang a few things. Your shoes will have to go elsewhere. There are 2 chairs in the bedroom that are disgusting. They just need to be tossed. The shower looks new and is nice. The rest of the bathroom needs overhauled. The toilet and vanity are old and dingy looking along with the mirror. It just seemed dirty and stained. Painting the bathroom would help. The guest bedroom- Toss the mini blinds. They don't work and are filthy. Get dark curtains too. That would help keep the light out. Not much closet room. Owner has their stuff in here too. There were 2 blankets on a top shelf. They were old and smelled bad. The door to the bathroom sticks badly. It drags on the tile when you try to open or shut it. The fan doesn't work in the bathroom. The toilet was not cleaned well when we arrived. The shower rod and tub drain have a lot of rust on them. The bathroom needs painting. The doors need wiped down or painted. They look dirty. The closet doors are bi-fold doors. They are old and open with effort but are broken off the track. There is a small 4 drawer dresser for storage and that is it. This condo would be so nice if the owner took the time just to update and fix all these things. I have used VRBO on numerous occasions and have always been pleased with our stays. Not this time. I would never recommend this condo to others.

The place worked for all 7 of us. Glad to have 2 bathrooms.

Condo was basically as pictured. A few lightbulbs were out, but otherwise everything else was fine. A bit more thorough cleaning, especially by washer/drier would have made it nicer. Loved beach front and balcony. Swings in shade under complex were nice. Pool by the parking lot and in the shade not so nice, but the kids still used it and had lots of fun. It was a nice break from the salt water. In second bedroom closet there were too many things in storage, and no hangers, so that wasn’t a usable space for us. Needed better places to set things. We had 7, a family of 5 and a set of grandparents. It was nice to break up into two rooms and each have our own bathrooms. Bunks in hall good for younger kids, or shorter. Our 12 year old didn’t fit so comfortably. Even though the condo was no smoking, it had a smoke, or stale smell. If we had windows opened, that helped. Location was good, with Orange Beach a short drive away. Late checkin was very easy, as was one phone call to check out. We liked having a key code instead of actual keys for room, and the suggestion to take a picture of it with our phones. Furniture felt run down and over used. But, we didn’t use them that much. Easy to find a parking spot in lot. We couldn’t find recycling for the building, only garbage. Overall, the condo served its purpose for our needs on our vacation. Too bad the weather was cold, cloudy and windy 2 of our three days!!

I'd stay here again!!!

This is a great condo and my family and friends and I enjoyed it tremendously! The condo was the perfect size for 4 adults and 2 kids...the views from the balcony were great! The pool had lots of fun toys for the kids to play with. Great location to everything in town. The realty company who handles everything was easy to work with and even called to check to see if we had everything we needed. Wonderful family vacation!

Quaint space, beautiful view and great location

We enjoyed our stay very much! The owners are wonderful! The only issue was that the bathrooms are both in the bedrooms, but that is not a deal breaker. It would have been nice to have a larger balcony, but the smaller property was definitely a plus - fewer people on "our" section of the beach. We will definitely be back!
