8th Floor Beachfront Condo at Island Winds West is situated in the heart of Gulf Shores. Island Winds West is the first complex on West Beach Boulevard, so you are in walking distance to many of the attractions and events. This is THE best location in town and the beachfront views are second to none. This immaculate unit has been recently renovated and is just gorgeous with new paint, decor, a king mattress, and new queen-sized sleeper sofa. Features include: Gulf front and side views, fully equipped kitchen, convenient location to downtown, gulf front pool, kiddie pool, walk to restaurants and shops, hang out and shrimp festival favorite, washer and dryer, cable TV and DVD. The unit sleeps 4 with a king bed (brand new mattress as of May '22) in the bedroom and queen sleeper sofa in living room and high-end cotton linens.



Complex Amenities; Outdoor pool, kiddie pool, fitness room, and BBQ area



Be sure to book this unit early for the Shrimp Festival and Hangout Music Festival because it is in high demand.



Parking is limited to one (1) car. You will receive an email in advance of your arrival to register and pay for your parking pass. If you do not receive it, please let us know. You must complete this step in advance of your arrival. Upon arrival, you will need to visit the Island Winds East front desk to pick up your parking pass. Island Winds West is charging $50 per parking pass. This price can change at any time, without notice.

The condo was well equipped, but could use a very thorough cleaning from top to bottom. Also, the racks in the freezer are totally rusted; which is disgusting. The condo itself was in a great location; close to everything and the view was fantastic.

Great condo but too many fees

We usually stay at a different condo in this building but it was already booked. Opted for this one instead and it was very clean, no issues. I do have to note that there are way too many fees for this booking so we won’t be staying here in the future. Unlike the other condo we use, there’s a parking fee and a laundry fee (automatically added to booking fees). The service fees are also higher.

My wife & I stayed here for 5 days, 4 nights and had a wonderful time! This place had everything we needed! Plenty of space for the both of our clothes, luggage, etc.. Easiest check in we’ve ever had, no issues with anything at all. We will definitely be booking here again!

Great Gulf Shores location

Well decorated, great view, nice bed & mattress ,on the small side, no room for luggage, not good for 4 adults if needed , would be nice if you had box of kleenex and spare tp for the money.
