BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES:

RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.

NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.

AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.

CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.

CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day.

DOG-FRIENDLY PROPERTIES: If you are staying at a dog-friendly property, you MUST notify us and pay a non-refundable dog deposit. Failure to do so will result in us charging your card for the entire amount authorized for damage.

MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.

PARKING PASSES: Maximum of 4 vehicles allowed. No passes required. The cost of parking passes is set by each Homeowner's Association and is subject to change at any time without notice. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.

CANCELLATION POLICY RELAXED: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in shall receive a 100% refund of the amount they have paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation costs shall be refunded. For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Refunds shall not be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather conditions including hurricanes and named storms. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

The third bedroom was outside under the main house. Upon arrival, that bedroom nor bathroom had been cleaned in awhile as cobwebs were everywhere. When I called, they arranged for it to be cleaned when it was convenient for us. It also smelled like a closed up house- musty. The top of the fridge had not been cleaned in awhile either.

While we had an enjoyable time in Gulf shores, the unit had some issues. We missed the fact that the bunk beds (for the kids) was accessed only from the outside. We had no internet the entire week, which was problematic.

The WiFi did not work our entire stay. Beachball Properties said that their provider has spotty service in high season and read my contract, amenities are not guaranteed. I had planned to work while I was there which was not possible without internet. The company said they would send someone to look at it but no one ever showed up. In addition, the deck is falling apart. Instead of replacing it, they replaced random areas. There were slats missing on the back staircase and nails protruding from multiple treads. Not safe for kids.

What an ideal location

 5 minute walk to beach so no need to find parking. Perfect for families with teens. They have their own area on lower level

 We especially enjoyed pool, early June and warm water. Highly recommended

Need a lot of work

Was pretty disappointed in this place. Who has a pool with no seating or lounge chairs? The pool is disgusting. Stuff floating everywhere, a file on top of the water and slimy sides with lots of gunk piled up in the bottom. Pool guy came and did nothing. We booked specifically for the pool and was too gross to even swim. The beds are very cheap as is the bedding. Better quality bedding in motels in my opinion. I would highly recommend as a vacation property owner myself that these things be addressed. I see in the previous reviews that these things have been mentioned and clearly ignored. A little attention would go a long way and make for a much more pleasant stay. Got very little sleep between the uncomfortable and loud bedding and lack of curtains. (Super bright in all rooms as soon as the sun comes up.

Quiet pet friendly getaway

We were very happy with the location of the property. It was a quiet area, but close to the beach and places to eat and shop. The house was great, with the exception being the operation of the tv in the living room. There were 4 remotes and still not quite sure which one you were supposed to use.

A friend group of 8 stayed here for spring break! The house was clean and fit us comfortably! Great communication with property managers! Only problems were the WiFi didn’t work and the bunk beds in the bunk room were wobbly other than that we had a great stay!

Simple comfortable and convenient

The house is cute and bedrooms were clean. Plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen was great. The yard was a nice feature for us, since we were traveling with dogs. Pool was nice. And the location was quiet and close to the beach. Main complaints were dirty floors, stains on the couch and poor TV reception for the direct TV. Overall a pleasant stay.

Great location! Close to everything.

The location is perfect and close to everything. The communication with the property managers was excellent. Any question we had was addressed promptly. The listing is a bit misleading with the lower bedroom, but we did not need the space so it was fine. There are a few things that would really make this rental, an excellent stay. An upgrade to the mattresses would be great. And the chairs by the pool are cheap and cracked, so the some lounge chairs would be great to make a for a better experience at the pool. The house is decorated cute. And there is plenty of space for two people. It being dog friendly was the reason we booked this.

House & pool were very clean but the backyard wasn’t mowed and outdoor chairs in back was broken.Master bed was broke down on one side so we put couch pillows under mattress to make it even. WiFi only worked one out of 6 days. That being said we did enjoy our stay

Overall a Great Trip Love Gulf Shores Just wish we would have set more time for it. GrandBabies loved the sand at the beach and extra bonus to have our own pool to enjoy at the house.

I really like the house. It’s our 2nd time staying there. However, it could use some TLC outside. Please invest in new outside pool chairs. They are old and busted and only 3 chairs. No internet all week but we made that work.

Would definitely go back

The property was great for the price. Overall the stay was great, it’s a super quick walk to the beach, the pool was clean and great. The house was nicely renovated upstairs and the downstairs was perfect for people okay with being a little tight. Would definitely stay here again. There were some issues like the downstairs closet being completely full so it was unusable and there being a few lights out in the home and downstairs but those were very minor things.

Fall Break

I stayed here with 4 adults and 1 kid. The location was great with a very easy walk to the beach. The pool was freezing and pretty much always in the shade. They needed to invest in a pool heater. All the railings on the stairs are falling off which is dangerous for kids. There is only 1 mirror in the main house which makes it extremely difficult to get ready. The internet didn’t work at all. Luckily we had someone in our party who was able to figure something out with the extender because we put in a work ticket but they showed up to fix a screen instead. We didn’t know anything about a screen. Also— make sure to bring toilet paper, detergent and ALL needs! Wasn’t the greatest house. I wouldn’t stay here again
