Welcome to Sandy Hideaways by Harris Vacations! Sandy Hideaways is a spacious, beachfront 5-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Mexico! Equipped to sleep 19, Sandy Hideaways is the perfect vacation home for your family's next Gulf Shores getaway. This beautiful, custom beach home features plenty of space for a family or multi-family vacation. Furry family members are welcome as this home is pet-friendly for up to two dogs with additional pet fees.

About Sandy Hideaways

Sandy Hideaways is located on Gulf Shores’ well-known West Beach Blvd. Being directly on the shores of the Gulf, guests can enjoy unobstructed Gulf views from one of the home’s two large decks, or enjoy the shade under the home.

Inside, Sandy Hideaways features an open floor plan with plenty of room to relax. On the main level of the home, guests will find two spacious living areas with plenty of comfortable seating, perfect for enjoying a movie with the family or just watching the waves. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and plenty of prep space so that guests may prepare a delicious meal. The dining area has two tables that each seat 6 and a countertop bar that seats 4.

Also located on the main level is Bedroom 1, equipped with a king bed, a TV, and a private bathroom with a double vanity, walk-in shower, and a soaking tub. A common half-bathroom is also found on the main level for the convenience of all guests.

On the upper level, guests will find 4 additional bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Bedroom 2 features a king bed, a TV, Gulf views, and a private bathroom. Bedroom 3 features two Twin over Full beds, a TV, and Gulf views. Both of these bedrooms have access to a Gulf-front balcony, the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee to the sound of the waves. Bedrooms 4 features a King bed and Bedroom 5 features a King bed and Twin over full bed, TVs, and private bathrooms. The sofa sleeper sleeps 2 additional guests.

Overall fantastic stay!

Fantastic location and cute decor, perfect for a girls trip. Only downside was no communal bathroom upstairs so the one room without a bathroom had to go into someone else’s room to use the bathroom. Overall definitely recommend.

The property was great as it was on the beach. There were a few things like adequate items in the kitchen - there were 2 wine glasses in the entire rental, so we purchased some more.

Great property with beautiful views just steps to the beach and close to food and shopping. Plenty of room for a large family and dining area can seat 10 with 4 additional seats at the bar. Beds are comfortable with extra pillows and blankets if needed. There is no vacuum cleaner, which is a necessity when you’re on the beach. There is mold and mildew in closets and around most air vents, which is concerning. Tiles in shower and bath have been painted over, and almost all are peeling. BBQ grill is completely rusted out, so we were not able to use. Deck railing on main level is in serious need of repair. Every TV has multiple remotes, all with different connections, but no instructions. Also, thermostats are complicated and no instructions on how to use. Finally identified the type of thermostat online and were able to resolve.

Dead week vacation.

During the dead week of Alabama high school sports we stayed at this property with in-laws and cousins and had a great week. Plenty of room with the 5 bedrooms and 4 full baths

Great house and location

Able to accommodate many with the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen appliances and dinnerware could have been a bit cleaner and although there was much seating in the living area, some could have been more comfortable. Overall a great property and would definitely recommend to others.
