Great place!! Have a few suggestions but one that might affect someone's decision toilets are very high anyone under 5'5" feet won't touch the floor smaller kids will need help

Great house! Very nice.. would book again! Next to public beach so plan on getting your chairs/umbrellas setup early to get a good spot bc it gets busy next to the house as there is limited spots..

The property was amazing and as described and as close to the beach as you can possibly want. Unfortunately the property had some sewage issues and we had to be relocated to another property that unfortunately did not have the amenities that we paid for which included being able to take our dogs to the beach as we were embarrassed and threatened with a $500 fine at the new property as we did not know that the property we were relocated to was not pet friendly as we were not made aware of also due to the size of our group we spent most of the day relocating and nothing much was done or concerned shown for our troubles. I truly believe Harris vacations could have done to make our stay a bit more enjoyable due to the unforeseen circumstances f having to be relocated. I will also add that they asked for us not to use the commodes while we were there which was such an inconvenience and almost impossible due to us having kids and being the large group not sure why they would think that would be an option for anyone.

Very relaxing

Code did not work upon arrival. Within 20 minutes had a new code. Inside was very humid smelling. Other than that, was very accommodating. The property is right on the beach , which makes it wonderful. It is located right next to public entrance. They set up right in front of property. So you have to set your stuff up beforehand (early). Everyone on the beach is very nice. They are there for the same reason. We got to see a wedding that was set up in front of us one morning.

Great location

The location of this property was amazing. We would wake up each morning and watch the dolphins. The kids enjoyed being able to play baseball and football without a crowd of people. The rental company was very easy to get ahold of when we needed them.

Piece of Paradise

We absolutely loved this property. It is so close to the beach which made it so convenient to go back and forth. The deck was awesome which was a plus for my elderly father. The decor is beautiful. The only thing I would change would be to have more towels in the unit so you don’t have to wash as often.

We definitely enjoyed our stay. We were disappointed that the listing did not indicate that this house was located right next to public beach access. We had people park in the driveway to unload and then set up right in front of the house. There was a dirty towel waded up in the bathroom when we checked in. The wireless wifi was broken and we had problems with the air conditioning. There was some damage when we checked in and we notified the property people with minimal response. However, I was pleasantly surprised on how well stocked the kitchen was with pots, pans, dishes, etc. this house is directly on the beach and we had a great time!

Small problems

Hot water heater set very high, dishwasher leaks, tv in first bedroom doesn’t work, bathrooms very small. Oven is very dirty. Just small things but wanted to let you know

Beach stay 2019

Our overall experience was great, the house had everything that we needed. We really didn't spend a lot of time in the house, the beach was amazing. Location is perfect, no hotels or high rises nearby. A few things that I can think of that could be improved would be. A longer water hose, we couldn't spray off the stairs, therefore we kept tracking a lot of sand into the house. Also I thought it was a little silly that I had to pack toilet paper, papertowels, and trashbags. One of each was provided, but only lasted a few days. More of those items could be included in the rental at little cost.

Awesome location!!!!

The house needs some work. The main shower had a huge break in the bottom, a couple of my children were afraid to use it. The ceiling had a leak above the couch and the couch was wet when we sat on it. The bunk beds in the living room were broken. There were many bugs everywhere. The wifi never worked, the TV in the spare room never worked but they came to fix the television the last day we stayed, they still were not working when we left. The carpet in the bedrooms were old and had a sort of smell to them. However, the location is amazing!!! We loved Fort Morgan and we loved the beach and the deck. We sat out there every morning and watched the dolphins swim. You are definitely paying for the location right on the beach not the house. The location on the beach is worth all of the other issues in the house for the price.

Beautiful location

My family of 5 stayed at the end of spring break. The location is amazing! The beach is your backyard!! The bunk beds in the living room were a little awkward if someone was trying to sleep and someone wanted to stay up late. You could definitely tell this was a rental and not someone’s personal home. Overall a nice stay.

Memories Made

Such a peaceful, restful time for our family. Many things to do in the area, but my four high-school-aged children never wanted to leave our beach. They spent countless hours playing and building in the sand together, just like when they were little. So nice to see them reconnecting like that. Felt like home as soon as we walked in. Thanks for allowing us to make a few more "childhood memories" before they start going off to college.

Great value for a phenomenal view!

We stayed 5 nights in March 2019 for a fishing trip and this was a great house! The price is right for a guys trip to Fort Morgan. For this price, you should not expect luxury, so we have no complaints. You cannot beat the view off the front (new remodeled) deck.

The location on the beach was nice, the bunk beds in the living room were very awkward and took up livingroom space, the thermostat was hard to reach, bathrooms were very small, no tub, and not too thrilled there wan’t cable/local networks. The house was clean except for a few things found under the beds.

Natural beach experience away from the crowds.

Clean and updated. Everything needed for the stay was provided, including washer and dryer. Spectacular location on the beach: closest I’ve ever stayed to the ocean. So grateful that it was pet friendly. Because it is located on the sand and stairs must be climbed, it would not be a good choice for someone with mobility problems. But, if you’re like me and love long walks on the beach in a natural environment- it was pure heaven!

We loved the house! It was clean and all the new updates made to the house and deck looked GREAT!!!

It was amazing walking out the door to a beautiful new deck and only a few steps to the water! We loved relaxing in our chairs on the beach while the kids fished, made sandcastles, and searched for seashells. A few mornings we watched the dolphins swim by and one day they even put on a pretty good show jumping around:) There is a small grocery store/bar and grill only a street or two down which was really convenient. I would definitely recommend this house and hope to book another trip for next year!!!

Great place

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway, it was wonderful. It appeared the house had been recently renovated, and the stairs and deck were brand new. Everything was clean and the location is wonderful, you are literally right on the beach! There were only two issues I had with the house, both were minor but we could not find a way to turn the ceiling fans on without having the lights on in the living room, again a minor inconvenience, maybe we were just not doing something right but we could not find a switch on the fans/light. The other thing which I think people should know about so they are prepared to carry their luggage is that you cannot park right at the house, understandable because of the location, but it would have been nice to have some sort of path from the driveway to the house, wood, or rock, anything would be nice, it's just difficult trying to carry luggage thru the sand. Luckily we were packed light since it was only a weekend stay but had we been staying a week our luggage would have been much heavier and much harder to get from the vehicle to the house, again this was a minor issue. Over all it was a great place to stay and I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking at renting it.

Amazing view

If you are looking for a place right on the beach with in casting distance this is your place. Great views away from the hustle of gulf shores. The house was clean and ready when we showed up at 3. The bad we had a incident with a bathroom door sticking wich lead to a child being locked in the bathroom it was 4:50 i called Harris and the lady on the phone was concerned and told us that there was some one right around the corner called them and then called me right back saying they where on there way. at 5:45 still no one has shown up and the child was still locked in the bathroom i called there "emergency" line 4 times left msg after msg trying to figure out what was going on the child 5 was getting very upset . And no one ever returned my call. Finaly after 6 30 some one showed up and we were able to get the child out of the bathroom. There is a access to the beach right next to the house if you didn't get out and reserve your spot in front of the house by 10am. You could plan on steping over people in front of the house to get to the beach. We got blocked in several times in our driveway from people parking behind us to walk on to the beach. Really should be a private parking sighn at the end of the driveway. Be alot easier then walking up and down the beach looking for a owner of a certain car. The shaded deck is great we used it alot. But the porch really needs some repair we had several kids get splinters from the warped wood.. i sent a email to Harris letting them know our problems and never once heard back from them.. so at the end of the day I would not use this house. There is a big diffrence between outdated and ran down. We really did enjoy our stay but i really think Harris droped the ball on this deal. We have stayed in several diffrent houses down in gulf shores and have never had any problems. And have stayed with Harris property's. And never any issues. So I really do think this a exception more then a rule...
